LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
duboismerci replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Those are great set. I don't really like the design of the U-wing and the tank. But the minifigs are amazing. The tank trooper, shoretrooper and death trooper are incredible. I hope we can get plenty of them in the coming BPs Those sets IMHO saved this year from being the worst year for Lego SW. Edit: also the shuttle is the perfect part pack for anyone wanting to make a B2 US Stealth bomber. (the cockpit is perfect for it) -

We know there is some at specific time like xmas, october and black friday but sometime there are some at random time and I was wondering if anyone remembered from last year. I hope there is one before. I really want that turbo thank and since a lego star wars sale is not something that exist anymore in Canada, my only hope to save $ is to buy a set during double VIP event. -

The last AT-TE was 90$ in the US. Also, the new set is good looking but the minifigures are a little weak. I might pick this up on sale. I think I will only pick up the Turbo tank this summer so my 41st corps will finally have his jedi commander. (Cannot wait for it!) -

I mean this is probably going to be 100 or 110$ US. Lets hope I am wrong -

Is this confirmed to be 90$? Because I don't recall any source saying so. I think you are all assuming that it's going to be 90$ because the last summer exclusives were all 90$. I mean 90$ is probably too good to be true. -
The 2013 green top with Yoda was the best one. It just looks perfect and attracting. It's also the year I started collecting again with the new republic gunship. First set since 1999.

What's your favorite Lego clone troopers in your collection?
duboismerci replied to Jedi Master's topic in LEGO Star Wars
3- 41st Corps trooper They look like scout troopers from episode 6 but with a different camo and amazing details. Now with the turbo tank I can even have their Jedi general. 2- Phase I trooper (redesign) The one that started it all. Ep II was my favorite during my childhood (I liked Ep VI alot too because it's the first one I saw but no clones were involved) Their arrival on Geonosis is still one of my favorite scene of all time. 1- 212th Airborne trooper Not as iconic as the phase I trooper, but their helmet variant and the insane amount of details makes it number 1 for me. Also I have something for airborne trooper. (Thanks Band of Brothers) Now, if only they could make a 501st battlepack with 2 normal trooper and 2 airborne trooper that would be amazing. Great topic!- 15 replies

Wow, the gate look horrendous from behind. Also the 3 different E-Web look silly next to each other. The one that came with Hoth assault is way too big. The best one is from the snowspeeder set. I don't think I will ever get this set. Too many parts that are useless and can't be display like the oversized E-Web, the 3/4 finished Ion canon and the 3/4 finished power generator. Plus, the gate can only be displayed in one direction because the back is incomplete. I get that this set is for kids. I still play with my Lego but when I am done I put them back on the shelf to display. That can't be done with this set. Thanks for the pictures.

I bought 75128: TIE Advanced Prototype x1 75134: Galactic Empire Battle Pack x5 75135: Obi-Wan's Jedi Interceptor x1 + 2 poster and 2 ammo pouch first order stormtrooper Also, a friend gave me his Simpson house with most bag sealed. I just had to buy some missing plates and 1 bag. I just want to point out that in my first box, everything was pilled on my microfighter box and it was crushed.(who puts the smallest box at the bottom -_- ) Also the poster was damaged. Did anyone receive their stuff in such poor packaging? It's the first time for me.

Would they release a UCS during double VIP month? (October) -

duboismerci replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Everything I want to buy is not on sale (Obi-Wan jedi starfighter, Galactic empire BP) and the promo figure sucks. At least there is double VIP but that only translates to 10% off. I hesitate to pull the trigger fearing that those set will be on sale at TRU in couple of days. -

To all Canadians out there: Any of you heard about any TRU sale for May the fourth? Normally I buy everything there because they normally have 20% off all Lego Star Wars. Now nothing is on sale so I can't buy anything. -
Hello everyone! I mostly stay on the Star Wars forum but a friend gave me his Simpsons house and I am trying to find the missing pieces. Most bags are sealed (only missing 2 and I ordered the parts) Therefore, I have all the numbered bag but I am missing the not-numbered bag with all the plates. I was wondering which part this bags included. For now I think 4609726 x9 4620130 x1 4211400 x1 Can anyone confirm what piece came in the the and were not in a numbered bag? Is there any other piece that didn't come in a numbered bag that I would be missing? Thank you

It's missing too much elements for it to be interesting on its own. Maybe in 1 or 2 year if they release other Hoth sets like the AT-ST, battlepacks with snowtroopers and rebel troopers, and a medical bay it would make this set interesting to pick up. Many say that it's a great set for people who have zero Hoth sets, I think it's the opposite. You have nothing to play with in this playset since you have only 2 bad guys and a ton of defenses.

Last year we had 10% on some microfighters and some 20-30$ sets. I don't remember any big set being discounted. At least you can get double VIP on your purchase... -
The Tie advance from 7150 Tie fighter & Y-wing is the best and if you don't think so you are not real lego fans! (joke) More seriously, the new one is the best but I already have the 2013 A-Wing and the 1999 Tie advance. I know the new ones are more accurate but this is going to be 120$ in Canada so I will pass.

Hello fellow Star Wars fans. I had a long week and I needed to change my mind. FedEx came just in time with my free shipping double VIP order. Nothing better than a Lego box to clear your mind. Battle pack aren't long to build so I thought I would review the set to make the fun last longer! So without further introduction, my fifth review: Galactic Empire Battle Pack! Name: Galactic Empire Battle Pack Theme: Star Wars / Battlefront Year: 2016 Pieces: 109 Minifigures: 4 Price: USA 12.99$, ENG 11.99£, CAN 15.99$, EUR 16.99€ Ressources: Brickset Lego store description Launch an Imperial attack from the battle station! The rebels have been spotted in the distance. Jump onto the control center to pinpoint their location, load the dual shooter, arm the blasters and fire! With your help, the Imperial Troopers will send those rebels running for cover! -Includes 4 minifigures: 2 Imperial Stormtroopers, an Imperial Shock Trooper and an Imperial Technician -Features a control console, dual stud blaster station and a detachable spring-loaded shooter. -Detach the spring-loaded shooter to expand the battle play. -Includes 4 stud blasters and extra ammo. -Accessory elements include 2 jetpacks and 3 Imperial Trooper helmets. -Recreate endless LEGO® Star Wars battle adventures. -Makes a great addition to any LEGO® Star Wars collection. -Measures over 1” (4cm) high, 3” (10cm) wide and 2” (7cm) deep. The box has the 2016 episode VII art: Kylo Ren. On the back we see the play features like the detachable gun that can be used as a turret. Also the accesories that are included. Inside the box there is 2 numbered bags and the instruction booklet which as the same image as the box. Like always. The back with the win minifigure. Spare parts. Mainly studs (its a BP) and a missile. The completed model: It's supposed to be a gun platform. It is not based on anything seen in any movie/videogame. Front view Side view Back view The canon can be detached and serve as a machine gun emplacement. The control section looks better by itself. You could attach 1 gun on each side if you have more than 1 set. You can sit a minifigure on the lowest seat but not on the second one. I don't know why they would put the red piece there because it forces your the second minifigure to be standing. Now to the minifigures or the reason you buy Battle Packs We get 4 like always. Two jetpack trooper, one technician and one shocktrooper. The jetpack trooper are the regular stormtrooper but with added battle damge. The shocktrooper are never seen before. They are based on the new Battlefront game from what I heard. They were also in the Force Unleashed video game and had a speacial shield ability. They were pretty cool. The technicians is the same print as the Imperial Star Destroyer but with a slightly different face and newly colored hat in black. Back view I added some comparison pictures From left to right The jumptrooper, the regular stormtrooper, the rebel one and the 1999 version. A shocktrooper, a jumptrooper, a rebels stormtrooper and a regular stormtrooper. back printing The imperial technician with the one from the ISD and the ISD microfighter. back printing Rating ------ These three points are not included in final score. Price: 6/10 – We know the drill by now. Around 10-15$ (depending on country) for 4 minifigures, a small build and around 100 pieces. Most are studs or really small. But these are all about the minifigures. We get 3 variants all new and with great printing but a small and not iconic at all vehicule. Price is OK for what you get. Parts: 6/10 – No really interesting parts except the jetpacks which are exclusive to that set in that colour. At least there are very few technic pieces so you get mostly bricks. Build 4/10 – Battle pack are not about build but this one was really boring. The vehicule is very small and uninteresting. Plus not knowing what it is makes it a forgetable build. It will take between 5-10 minutes to build. ------ Design 3,5/10 – This vehicule is not inspired by any source material. This is one reason I gave it such a low score. Not because I only want canon material but because the designer had free game to build whatever they wanted with a Star Wars feel and they came up with this little kind of command platform/artilerry gun which is not really detailed and feels incomplete. It gets some points because of the play features like the detachable gun and the missile function but that only offer so much. A speeder or any other kind of vehicule that could have fought with the speeder bike of the Rebel Alliance BP would have been better. Also this doesn't give any display value. Minifigures: 8/10 – We get 4 minifigures and 3 variations. They all have the same angry clone face except the technician who has a different face print with a microphone. The jumptrooper are inspired by the battlefront video game (like this whole BP). They have the normal stormtrooper printing (not Rebels) but with added damage print. They look good but it might feel a little too much specialy the big crack on the helmet. Some will love them so will hate them. The damaged trooper can represent experience troopers or if you will 'crack' troopers. (Pun intended) All the added print limits the army bulding potential of this set unless you want to amass a Lightning division who all have a lightning bolt crack on their helmet. The shocktrooper is a nice variant. You can use the as the Emperors guards or some specialist units. They have just enough red to look different but not to much to look like some clone trooper from a clone legion. My point is they still look like stormtrooper. They are canon because of battlefront but it's easy to imagine that the Empire had more than one variant of trooper. The technician is the same as the ISD one. His new hat is probably what many will go after. Still, it might be more accurate but for kids who don't spot those kinds of details in the movie, it may look a little weird for them to have an all grey trooper with a black hat. (Fashion alert LOL) Overall, the selection of trooper variations is great. You get 2 assault troopers (jetpacks), one specialist trooper (shocktrooper) and a support soldier (technician). Playability: 8/10 – This set is one faction only. You need some alliance troopers (I'am talking about you Alliance Battle Pack) for the complete playability experience. Still, by itself the sets still brings some fun features. The stud shooters are always fun to shoot and so is the springshooter. The trooper with jetpacks are also fun to play with because every kid dreames at least once to own a jetpack. Also the turrets rotates and you can remove the cnnon and use it as a turret leaving you with a small command center and a gun platform. OVERALL 6,5/10 – This is an average BP because of a lackluster vehicule. But the minifigure are amazing. It all depends if you like the damaged stormtrooper and if you don't mind adding a diffrent kind of stormtrooper to your army. The things is, a low quality build and some unique (too unique?) minifigures diminushes the army building potential of this pack. But since we mostly get them for figures, I see this pack going in many peoples collection. Please comment and share your thoughts about this set and the review in the comments. Thanks for reading!

I also like when they make made up vehicule like last year shadow trooper and senate commando builds. But this one is uninspired and boring IMHO. I ewould have liked a non damaged trooper. But I think 4 variant in a BP is too much. Three is good, two is perfect for me. They do fit nicely with the emperor bodyguard. That is really cool. Did you make this? I like the speeder but dislike the trooper in the alliance BP. It's the other way around for the empire BP. Oh well, I guess one can never be pleased.- 19 replies

This is going to be a great May the 4th sale. Double vip which turns out to be 10% off, a not exclusive exclusive. They will also put 2 or 3 30$ set an additional 15% off. For the last 2 year the sales have been worst then the year before. I believe Lego can surpass themselves and do an even shittier sale this year. #believe #Lego2016 side note: In Canada, prices are the same at TRU and the Shop@home. TRU has 20% during May the fourth while Lego offers nothing. The ONLY reason you would buy on the Shop@home would be for the exclusive minifigure... Buy the first order Bp 20% off at TRU so you don't have to spend 75$ for that minifigure on the shop@home. -

Yes but they were phase 2 clones. The first phase 2 clones looked a lot like the stormtrooper. I quickly looked it up and I haven't found any stormtrooper that had any kind of red markings. Thank you for your words and taking time to add the poll. I planned on buying more than 1 but I couldn't find any reviews so I only got one....for now- 19 replies
