I think the problem with rebel sets is not that there is too much competition or the show isn't liked. It's the laziness shown by Lego in the sets. Wrong skin color Sabine and Ezra, wrong color Sabine's helmet (absent in 2/3 sets that features her), a lot of repeat minifigures while we only got Zeb in 1 set. No helmet for the clones commander in the walker set. The frigate set is so random we see the ship for less than 1 minute. They should have made the corelian frigate instead. The overpriced Tie fighter vs A-wing. They could have made great sets for rebels and I am sure they would have sold well to kids and AFOLs alike. It's like Lego gave up on the show and said 'We have to make sets but we will do the minimum and be done with it' I just want an ARC fighter from episode 3 and some phase 1 clones!

Found a 75121 death trooper constraction figure for 10$ on clearance at Wal-Mart so I said why not and bought it to see how they look. I also finally got Luke landspeeder.

This is amazing. The attention to detail is awesome. Really good job! This is my favorite scene from the trilogy. I can't believe Lego didn't make any set based on this. -
So I bought from 3 different websites and made 4 order total to take advantage of the different sales. From amazon: the Y-wing microfighter and 2 rebels battlepacks Order 1 from Lego: the phantom 2, the microfighter tie striker and 2 imperial battlepacks. + the R2 polybag. -25$ with VIP points Order 2 from Lego: y-wing, battle of Scariff, duel on Naboo and 4 imperial battlepacks. + the R2 polybag From Toys r us: U-wing microfighter, Krennics shuttle microfighter and the droid troop transport from 2015. -10$ from a coupon I had Now I just need to go to the Lego store before work so I can get Luke's landspeeder that was sold off the website

When this is done you should make a 'Best UCS of all time' so people can argue endlessly on which set is a UCS and bash the new death star and assault on hoth. I would enjoy it. Can't wait! By the way, thanks for making the topic! -

Wow, what a disappointment! The wings should be larger and the whole build slicker. The wings are way too much inclined and the rings looks awful with the transparent pieces. They made a Delta-7B instead of the Delta-7 from episode II. Sad because I really wanted the Delta 7 from episode II. It is such a beautiful ship! Some will say that there is always people that are complaining but this is an horrible rendition of the ship. I don't know how Lego can make awesome sets like the UCS snowspeeder and then mess up like this set. I know the snowspeeder is an UCS but this build is not even close to the source material even by system scale standards. One less item on my wishlist I guess...

Thanks for the review, it's always fun to read one! I didn't plan on buying this set when I first saw it but after seeing the movie I really had to. I bought all of the rogue 1 sets because they are really well done and the movie was amazing. (In comparison, I didn't buy a single ep VII set because most ship designs were boring and the movie wasn't that great) Only thing I would had to this set to make it perfect would be a 3rd tank trooper and an additional Kyber crystal cargo box. Also, like you mentionned, the hatch should be fix to allow the minifig's head to look outside. I would also give this set a 4 out of 5! -

Wow the mini tank is really impresive. I really like it. Also great job on the buildding, I love the details.
