Looks like the "Crocodile" locomotive might just see the light of day as Creator Expert set (now the 18+ range) 10277 if the following article is to be beleived: Apologies if this has already been discussed.

MOC: Lego Ideas - Space Shuttle (Saturn V Scale)

@KingsKnight If you want I can provide an lxf of my interpretation of the satellite (probably easiest way is by email). It does fit in the cargo bay but the arm doesn't fully fold down, this may be just an issue in LDD rather than in real life.

    The Hulkbuster UCS MOD Topic

If anyone recreates Chubybots's mod in LDD could they share the lxf file, with the required extra pieces/changes highlighted. Thanks in advance.
  5. If you succeed could you let me know how they are done as I have tried to replicate them in Lego Digital Designer but have so far failed. Thanks
  6. Hi, Brilliant MOC. Further to Materix's request for a part list do you by any chance have a LXF file which contains the modifications that you did to the Ecto-1 model? Thank you very much, Charles

    MOC: Polar Bear Encounter

Shame it didn't get to 10,000 given all the press about it. You should sell it as a MOC on that way you can still donate any proceeds.

    [LDD] 10220 VW T1 Camper (2016 Update)

Any chance you could post the lxf file for this improved version? Thanks

Why is LEGO now being made in China?

Manufacturing parts/sets in China isn't necessarily a bad thing, until the issue of parts being created/sold by other 3rd party manufacturers is considered. Since the moving of manufacturing to China there has been an increased amount of piracy in particular of minifigures. This was especially evident when several Chrome Stormtroopers from the Star Wars the Force Awakens line of sets appeared on eBay claiming (with proof) to be official LEGO minifigures. These actions have led to the increase in prices of minifigures on sites such as eBay and Bricklink. OK this isn't just limited to LEGO but, they have to take action against the production of "illegal" copies of their products due to a workforce taking "samples" from the production line. Any action taken has been limited and the attitude that it is ok to sell fake minifigures at toy fairs, that LEGO endorse, as long as you remove the LEGO logo is wrong. They have become so fixated on making profits that they will not take any substantial action against the sellers of fake products and the people who supply them. These issues can be solved by bringing there manufacturing back to places such as Europe and where they could control quality and product security far more easily. Quality can only be controlled one way. Spend more money i.e. bring back the term "Made in the EU".
  11. 6 things that are needed: 1. 64-bit version 2 Updated database of parts (including all printed bricks) 3. Part numbers that correlate with Bricklink database 4. Improvements of building guide mode. Generate instructions similar to real-life instruction books 5. Ability to export building guide to pdf. Html format is useless when wanting to print 6. Model part list creation tool

MOC: CMF Display Stand (Collectable Minifigures)

Thanks very much. I take it that the half technic pin doesn't go fully into the back of the Skater's leg as I use display cases but when I've tried your method of attaching the skater to the pin, and it doesn't quite fit. Also what template do you use for the 'series' labels as I can't seem to get it right? In terms of display cases I use the cases at: (sorry not able to add hyperlink)
