My idea was to make a caricatural head and develop a balance between senses and colors.

The first image is a real optical illusion. It looks like it is on a hidden slope underneath when in reality the base is flat.
Yes for sure these new part will be an improvement for a lot of roof microscale build, as always we now will wait this parts will be in one official set to have it :)

Ah ah thanks you, curved slopes are my favorite parts, it is very interesting for texturing and making robust finitions :)
For the optical / floating aspect, it is due to post treatment of the picture with photoshop, I wanted a full white background but maybe I'd better keeping some shadows, because in fact we are loosing a little bit the horizontal reference here ;)

Quite a long time I didn't post on Eurobricks forum. I come back today with a build I have done with my friend Fox for the citadel of Besançon in France.
One of Vauban’s masterpieces registered as a UNESCO world heritage site, remarkable example of the 17th century military architecture covering nearly 12 hectares, the Citadel of Besançon is considered one of the most beautiful fortress in France.

This is the excape of the colorfull monster.
After an instensive teasing... here is the full MOC display at the Legohouse at Billund in the Masterpiece gallery. This one was specially design for the display size and will be exhibit 1 year at the Lego Home of the brick Billund.This is the story of a color monster. He is confine in a case and want to escape from it. He knows only one langage, modeling colors to express his feelings. In his jail, he try to calling out visitors to help him, looking with the lime gobelin what is hapenned outside, trying to push up the display with the briht light orange tree.... Asking for love and touching the window with an aqua hand... Trying to imitate visitors in a sort of walking way... He try to escape... and he will... not physically, but in fact he will engrave something in visitors mind, engraving some colors and interogations... so you know what... he win !
Going to Legohouse to install the 21 September and meet a lot of great builders, was for me an unforgatable moment !

Tonight, I packed all the project and take the plane tomorow during the night for Billund... Can't wait to see the Legohouse and meet some of the famous buider in the world and look at their creation for real !

Very well done ! I love clown and specialy horror clown ;) (I build Violator and billy the puppet from saw... it is'nt realy a clown but near...)
Picture is very good, the clown centered on the picture and the boat just Under. You catch the eyes ! Shaping is difficult on this type of MOC and you did it perfectly specially on this scale (not too big !) And keep eyes not squinting. Hair are beautifull too and color choice is perfect (dark orange !)
So yes... I like it !

This is a little teaser for my incoming project. I work for a while on a MOC that will be display in the new Lego House Masterpiece gallery (yeah !!).
I will be in Billund for 3 days to install the project and be here for the afol opening (23 September 2017) and I hope I will meet many of you ;)

I think I saw the first 2 movies, the first was great, the second, I think was ok. After that, they just went downhill!
I think they are preparing a reboot of the saga... wait and see... sure it's hard to keep interesting during so many movies...
But, the MOC is fantastic. Creepy, but, fantastic!
Good luck in the contest! Could post a link to it. I would be interested in seeing some of the other horror MOCs. I really like Friday the 13th and Walking Dead.

Mick Batto did a MOC on Walking dead theme with a nice idea.
I took the 3rd place for this challenge, my MOC was in WIP state, but in fact most important is to participate and have fun... nothing else to win
You captured the face perfectly. Aweosme use of the 4x4 spiral dishes too. Good work, looks realyl authentic.

Quite simple I think but I enjoy this color sheme.

This turtle don't like birds. So when one of them fly just above... this turtelito take a great pleasure to shoot the bird with an hydrojet !!

Here is a MOC I did for a contest L13 on Brickpirate.net. Violator, the worth enemy of Spawn...
For this MOC I want to make this vilain appearing in the comic book Spawn... This one is terrific and ridiculous... I remember the music album from the film with Korn, Incubus, Sylverchair, Metallica...

Hello everybody !
I'm Pistash from France. I'm 35 years old.
I read a lot on this forum and saw a lot of your créations here or on FlickR, for me it's time to introduce myself here.
I play a lot with Lego when I was a young boy. And for a little bit more than 1 year, I begin to buy some Lego for my son...
and when I see the new sets made by Lego and the different Afol creations on internet, I decided to let the virus integrate my life.
I spend a lot of my time on the french community Brickpirate.net. I only make MOC and don't collect sets or minifigures.
As a beginer I love the L13 contest on Brickpirate, this one make me progress and try different subjet I didn't expect.
I'm a big fan of comics specialy Moebius (Jean Giraud) and Sci-Fi.
I begin to be a serial MOCeur with Karl Chaz, my invented character that travel through portals and different environnements (I have a lot of ideas for that). I will post a subject for this one.
As an exemple you will find one of them here :
I hope I will made a lot of others creations (I like this !!) and in the next year my first participation on a exebition in France.
