  1. Meet the Creator: Akiyuki Kawaguchi http://www.legoengineering.com/meet-the-creator-akiyuki-kawaguchi/
  2. Great work on all aspects of your creation. Very inspiring.
  3. Regarding the use of red and yellow axles: I'm now building the 42052 (Heavy Lift Helicopter) mostly from parts out of my own stock and see no reason to use red and yellow axles. Most of them are invisible in the build model. It saved me some Bricklinking and some money.
  4. Thanks, I always enjoy your unusual creations.
  5. i have a few of the thicker ones. Didn't even know it untill I used some while working on the front of the B-model of the Arocs truck. The flick pins on which you mount the plates of the grille don't fit in the thicker pins. 61184 http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=61184

    Review: 21303 - WALL-E

Build my Wall-E today, very nice set. Too bad that the orange/yellow pieces are not all the same colour shade. Some bricks on the left and right side show differences.
  8. Not for the faint-hearted. Arocs Mini.
  9. I have made a "poor man's version" of the B model. As I don't have all the white stuff for the cab, I've changed it for black with some red so it don't gets too dark. LBG panels of the lorry changed to green. The back of the cab is a bit 'open', you can see part of the fake engine, so I closed it. Halfway building the crane, I realised that the new pneumatic cylinders are only one stud wide so I couldn't use my old cylinders. Therefore I made a sort of mock-up by replacing the cylinders by yellow beams. Probably next wednesday will my official set arrive, then I will make some side by side photos with the 'real thing'.
  10. Another awesome machine from a great builder!
  11. The Trash Can is also an option: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=92926 The ball sits at the same depth as the light dish, if I'm not mistaken, the ball in the barrel sticks out a bit more. A plus for the barrel is that it has an axle hole, the trash can needs extra support.
