I had a feeling I'd see a review from you over the next few days. Especially looking forward to reviews on any of the bigger sets (e.g., Hurricane Heist, Mission HQ) if you picked those up. I'm sure the Juniors Turtle Lair is in your queue too. ;)

Thanks for sharing. Love that it's a pic of Flurr, as he's a definite buy on my list.

Well, this is exciting. Saw on Reddit that Ultra Agents sets are already showing up at Toys R Us! http://www.reddit.com/r/lego/comments/252dbc/agents_sets_are_at_toys_r_us/ http://www.reddit.com/r/lego/comments/252ve4/ultra_agents_in_toys_r_us_as_well_as_new_ninjago/

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Rumors & Discussion
Fritzy replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Surprisingly not overpriced. Still no word on US/Canada availability for the promo. Perhaps July with the movie sets? -
This looks great. Nice to see this set inspired you to do an upgrade. I'm really developing an appreciation for the Creator houses as a sub-theme. Consistently appealing design -- and holding great possibilities for expansion, as shown by your modular.

Oh wow. Thanks for doing this. The detail on the new version really shines. I'm curious, though -- when I look at the front hatches on both, the older version seems to have a deeper and potentially more spacious interior by a small margin. How do they compare in this respect?

I love what you did to the trees, and the water looks well done too. Have you thought about submitting this or other creations you have to LEGO Ideas?

Does anyone know if the first wave of Mixels will remain on shelves alongside sets from the second wave?

Fun design. The buried Stormtrooper is the highlight for me. Hope to see more!

What about Beast? Or would he have been too bulky for this set? On Xavier, must he have a seat in the X-Jet necessarily? Perhaps the story would go that him and Magneto are having an altercation while the X-Men deal with the Sentinel. Right. That's something to remember.

Yes, in June -- unless we hear otherwise. In some ways, you're right. It'll be $59.99 in Canada, which is a lot for what you're really getting. So that leaves me unsettled. I do realize that the minifigs and the design of the Sentinel probably bring up the cost, along with the role of the license itself, seeing as how this set is a one-off (for now). I'm more comfortable on the plane, though. Some of its features make me think there may be more to it up-close. Myself, as much as I hope this set succeeds in demonstrating that there's more demand for X-Men sets, I'm not inclined to get it right away. The GOTG sets are higher up on my radar anyway. More than likely, I'll use VIP Points to bring down the cost and make me feel better about the value. I keep thinking along similar lines. One more addition would have made the cost more bearable. Who would've been a good fit, do you think? I imagine an Xavier figure would only raise the cost.

Hopefully LEGO sees the market potential for the bird project (the fact that it reached 10,000 supporters should indicate that such exists), as that's the project I'm most rooting for in this group. I'd be very surprised if the Modular Apple Store passed review, but if it does, then I'd be happy for the designer as I'm sure they went in realizing LEGO's general attitude towards sets of this nature. Soon we'll learn of their decisions on projects from the previous review period, and that's something I'm looking forward to.

This might be only relevant to Canada and US, as it looks like Germany's offers are different. Still a 50-point bonus but the selection is different: Palace Cinema and Lord Business' Evil Lair. Here's a link for you: http://shop.lego.com/en-DE/VIP/vipPromotions.jsp- 2626 replies

I was very surprised to learn that Ariel's Amazing Treasures didn't include a dinglehopper (fork). How do you overlook such a key item? I also feel there was room to include Sebastian -- it would have made for great value.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Fritzy replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
That's a good point. By the same token, I'd be a bit surprised (and potentially disappointed) to see them go a conventional route with a large-scale hospital, as an example, as I think they can do better and inject more creativity along the lines of recent modular designs. -
Nice work, and I like that the LDD file offers a different perspective. Are you thinking of expanding in any way prior to submission?

Darth Revan minifig (and other May the 4th promotions)
Fritzy replied to Debricker's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Agreed. A disappointing turn-out, to be sure. The fact that TRU has better deals (when they're already notorious for markup) is rather embarrassing. -
Adorable! Does the ride spin or is it just for show? Is anyone manning the ticket booth?

Ooh, a post office! Now that I'd love to see! Lots of ideas there. -
Thanks for drawing attention to these projects. I added support for two of the three to help out. I would like to see more recommendations from the community on projects they are rallying for, especially if it means giving attention to more obscure picks that I myself may have overlooked. I'm not sure, though, on where that could be done on the forum and how the mods feel about that as a practice.

Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary CUUSOO set Discussion
Fritzy replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in LEGO Licensed
Comparison pics of the final Ecto-1 set vs. the original submission, courtesy of WetWired: Seeing as how the front of the box hasn't been shown in full (perhaps by stipulation?), I have a feeling this has the new 'Ideas' branding.
