Exxtrooper's post of the photo on Flickr (that got changed due to TLG) has pieces of information regarding the group of MOCists "recruited" by Lego to send some of their creations in. "You'd be surprised; Aanchir is actually close to correct. Djokson, VBBN, and myself were contacted (via VBBN) by someone from TLG asking for samples of our MOCs... but apparently we weren't good enough or something, and we never heard back." -[ Chro ] AKA Ben "Guys, (Chro) isn't a Lego designer, don't be silly. The people at fault for the leak are members of our Skype group, so everyone in it knows everything, and we aren't allowed to say it all. Though (Chro) is being overly cryptic; it is definitely real. Also, multiple sources didn't get it at the same time; it all came from one person, and it spread fast. Our group will probably find out more information soon, and while we may not leak further pictures if they are compromising, we can definitely tell you about the information we learn, and you can choose to believe is because we are reliable." -Grayson (not Steve) Take a look at the Flickr page. This information suggests alot of different things... Notably more images regarding the theme. If you would like this information removed, just notify me.

When the Toa Nuva retrieved the Heart of the Visorak (controls all Visorak) They used it to destroy the entire species. Retrieving the Heart was one of the steps to awakening the Great Spirit. EDIT: If you had seen TTV's episode covering the image, they had talked about the colors. The Gresh-esque character is actually blue. EDIT 2: They didn't destroy the entire species, they imprisoned them. Sorry for the inaccuracy. They were released on to Spherus Magna after Makuta fell.

I'd like to ask the same question about the Stars, when Tahu gained a third and fourth finger It probably isn't a Visorak but a spider-like rahi. You know, like a mutant Fikou spider. That would be pretty cool! EDIT: Dangit Jetrax99, you ninja'd me.

Time for my updated list of evidence! At this point, I feel like a detective investigating a murder case. Real: -Originally came from a source known for releasing authentic preliminary sets -Multiple sources had the image and revealed it around the same time -Source could potentially lose job for leaking -Images surfaced around the time of the "Leak Season" -Images seem authentic, and looks similar to other preliminary sets -Asger Johansen mentioning a new theme for 2015 -Lego attempting to take down images on sites such as Tumblr and Flickr (according to Exxtrooper) -"Separately" spelled wrong, could be a typo or translation error* Fake: -Images surfaced unexpectedly and out of nowhere -Not very difficult to photoshop -Boxing plans image is very sketchy and unrecognizable -No confidential watermark -Most sources remove photo due to "problems" with Lego *Could be considered as both fake and real supporting evidence

Does anybody know anything about Lego "recruiting" Bionicle community members for some sort of project or work related to their site? It could very well be connected to this. EDIT: Nice catch SmoothJazz! You are right; the fact that the word is misspelled might actually add to the realism of this. If this were fabricated and so much effort was put into one little image, then surely they would make it seem as authentic and professional as possible. Maybe the word is misspelled due to some translation error or likely just a typo.

Can't forget the Cage. Regardless of if this image is photoshopped or not, it still looks strikingly similar to previous prelims of box stands. And we know that there is a very good chance of this being real, considering LEGO has actually been trying to eradicate the images off of Flickr and Tumblr. I'm not saying that these could not have been photoshopped, just simply stating that it isn't likely.

Yeah. Brain attack heads would probably be the best choice. Out of all the heads, these ones have the most connection points: Top, front, sides, and back if you count the pin connector point. I kind of wish that those heads weren't all one color, because it would make the faces seem much more realistic.

Look at my signature. 'Nuff said. I'm pretty glad that Lego decided to stick with CCBS. It's a very useful building system with lots of possibilities, and with the new theme then we could get many more unique parts.
-
Maybe when we get clearer images of the sets some people can start assembling their own versions if JANG doesn't get there first. Then again, he probably will. Hopefully the masks will be compatible with most heads, especially Metru heads. More compatibility means more versatility.

Never in Eurobricks have I ever seen such an intense speculation fest. And that's saying something. Even when I was a guest lurker around here I would always hover around speculation topics. So, we've proven that these images come from multiple sources. However, most of these sources have taken down the images due to "problems". As Dorek mentioned, these sites could have removed the images to "intensify the hype" or to participate in the hoax (if it is a hoax.) The only source we can truly trust is Exxtrooper at the moment, since he had his post directly removed by TLG (TLG was also attempting to eradicate the leaked images on Tumblr, according to Exx). If the post was taken down by a troll, then, (as Darth Vader said) they would have to go through a painstaking process only to have the image not removed because they do not own it. Therefore, that means the image was officially removed by LEGO, which in turn provides enough evidence to prove the image was, in fact, real. Half Life 3 confir- oh screw it.
-
If these are fake, then wow, whoever put this much effort into a little hoax to make it this elaborate has alot of time on their hands. And about what Dorek said, its possible to flag pictures on Flickr, so it could have very well been a troll who flagged the image.

Maybe we should all just join up in a live chatroom or something to talk about this. Sounds much more convenient rather than plaguing the forums about our rants and speculation
-
You stole those words right from my mouth. You spoony bard! Anyway.... I guess that gives us more evidence the fact that the leaked image was taken down. Man, the plot just keeps thickening, doesn't it?
-
THE PLOT THICKENS.......
-
So does that mean we have more evidence suggesting these images are real? I guess so. If Lego is requesting these images be removed, it just adds to the realism of the photos. You're right, Lego taking out hoax pictures would be impractical and a waste of time.... Maybe these images are real after all. Hopefully they aren't participating in the hoax. Only time will tell.

If Bionicle is coming back, I hope that there will be collectible masks. 2001 was one of the best years for the theme and it looks like there will be a few homages to the early years in these sets. The shiny gold mask does look a bit like the Avsa.... Maybe it is supposed to be a new legendary mask, or perhaps a redesigned Ignika? When I first saw Tahu I immediately thought about the video game version. Now that TTV released an hour long video covering these, we actually have colors.... The leaker confirms the background is mainly green, hinting that this could possibly be on Bota Magna? We also got colors of some of the sets.... Here's what I know Top two sets: Hard to tell. Second row to the left: Lots of blue, presumably water element Second row to the middle: Hard to tell. Spider: Black and red with green background, appears to use the 2014 HF spike pieces. Third row: Red lava surfer. No doubt Tahu. Fourth row: White and gold, possibly Takanuva, but I think I see an Akaku...

Okay, I'll list the evidence that supports this is real, and what makes it look fabricated. Real: -Came from a reliable(?) source -Multiple sources had the image and revealed it all around the same time -Guy could lose his job for leaking -Images surfaced around the time of the "Leak Season" -Images seem authentic, and looks similar to other preliminary sets -Asger Johansen mentioning a new theme for 2015 Fake: -Images surfaced out of nowhere (Don't most prelims do that?) -Although in leak season, still very early for prelims -Very easy to photoshop -Second image (boxing plans) is VERY blurry, almost unrecognizable -No confidential watermark -"Separately" is spelled wrong, written as "Seperately" If any more evidence is found, let me know.
-
Can somebody PM me the second image? I only saw a very pixelated version of it and I'd like to see it.
-
Makes sense, only the older fans would really care about what theme it is. YFOLs who are unfamiliar with Bionicle will probably just pass and get an HF or Chima set. Guess that rules out my theory. I wonder what it means by "Wobbler: Two in a set. Order separately." Perhaps there are two masks in a set? That would be pretty nice.
-
Perhaps this BIONICLE reboot will be just a side theme? I don't really know how that would work, but since we don't have any absolutely solid proof Hero Factory is being replaced by this, then maybe this will just be a homage or reminder. Just a thought. EDIT: Wait a second.... You know that Solis Magna project that planned on making their own Bionicle sets and "continuing" the theme? Looks like their job is done before it even begun.

Still a little skeptical of this, since it kind of came out of nowhere, but otherwise I'm stoked.
