Amazing model *y* ! i guess that it is a bit inaccurate, without the tanks and walkers, but for the limited resources, it is amazing. Where did you get the custom commander Gree? Edit: would I be correct to suppose that you made the custom yourself? I checked Kaminoen Fine Clonier details, etc., and they don't have anything like this.

My god. This... now i understand why the Lego company is the number one of it's kind. Damn, I used to think that this set was ugly, but now.... the only downfall is that it is $150 CAD... good-by, King's Castle Siege.... But by God, that is a beautiful set.

Allow me to explain. The avvie is a picture of Sir Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington, Viscount of Talavera and Generallisimo of the combined British, Spanish and Portuguese armies (mercifully called "Nosey" by his men). And the Kingston I'm from is Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Anyways, the person above me says that the person above him dislikes bean dip (and i don't blame him!).

Lego Star Wars becoming more and more "Exclusive"
Lt. Col. Thok replied to cody's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Meh.... that golden 3-PO is just a little extra thing, same with the Death Star box. You get it, you say "Oh, that's nice", and you put it on a shelf and start building the set. No big deal right? (That's actually what I did when I found one.) -
Wow- that is a nice set. So 53 euros is about ....$60 Canadian! Wow, that is expensive!
-
Heck. People know i like Lego and they have (in the past) made fun of me for it. Now, I just go along doing my thing. And nobody bothers me. Either that, or they're too afraid that i'll through my 60 pound backpack at them.

Problems with BS / Is BrickShelf no more ???
Lt. Col. Thok replied to john cleese's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Aye, I'll agree with that, but I'm a bit of a pauper, with all my money devoted to the building of Lego. Why should we have to pay to show the world our favorite hobby? Still, i suppose you're right. BS will wither and die if it becomes a fee-paying site....... But on the bright side, we do still have maj.com! And that, folks, makes me happy. -
Problems with BS / Is BrickShelf no more ???
Lt. Col. Thok replied to john cleese's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Whew. I'm just glad I had a back-up Flickr Gallery. However, I would strongly suggest to you, Kevin, wherever you are, don't try and turn BS into a profit site. That's like trying to turn a hedgehog into a microchip-it'll never happen. I, and surely other EBers and Mocers, will stand by my rights to share and distribute my images for free. -
Excellent. Thank you for this previously unknown info.
