You could also try this first: Or: https://www.reddit.com/r/lego/comments/1ttkj6/tips_to_cleanrestore_yellowed_bricks/ Even LEGO recommends the UV/sunlight approach b.t.w.

Not yet, but in the end I think I will. The ideas that others have for magnetic connectors are also very nice. But as I will integrate turnouts / servo's and controllers I'm still not sure what to choose (especially on the IoT side).

Very nice @Max_2_0. I am also adding MILS to everything and has been very handy so far.

Very nice work indeed! Really nice both the arch with all it's details and all the great figs!

Welcome @Electromistress. Thanks for sharing!

Nicely done @Juliusz D. Great build. The Bf 109F was the most important German aircraft and you captured it almost perfectly in LEGO!

LEGO City 2025 SETS - Leaks, rumours, discussion. (Animals too)
JopieK replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Aha, that explains it! -
When you use the original (double/two wire) cables they are in fact parallel and not in series. That is b.t.w. also how it is done in a house (at least the power sockets). 12V is actually quite high for such a small lamps (these days they would have obviously used white LEDs).

@LEGO Historian should be able to help you out!

Hi @YellowFrog, you are totally right, images should be hosted at e.g. Flickr or some other photo sharing platform (Google?!) as we don't have enough server disk room. Apart from that: welcome to Eurobricks and enjoy.

Should I be worried about the state of my LEGO Collection during the summer?
JopieK replied to Mister_Loki's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The old LEGO was indeed very susceptible to it. My dad's LEGO more or less melted and was afterwards not 'clutching' anymore. ABS should be ok till around 40 degrees C according to TLG, but too warm is always a risk of course. See also: -
I already read it in the Dutch news, but 1000steine Dirk has now also picked up on it: Toy manufacturer Lego is not prepared to reach a settlement with HA Bricks of entrepreneur Hein Alkema from Westerkwartier over train replicas built with Lego bricks that that company markets. This became apparent on Tuesday during summary proceedings initiated by Lego at the court in The Hague. Lego continues to consider the product an infringement of trademark law and demands that sales stop. According to Lego's lawyer, "the reputation of the toys of superior quality" is at stake because of the trains. HA Bricks would modify and mutilate building blocks in its sets. "The consumer cannot see whether it is Lego or HA Bricks," the lawyer said. He gave the judge a pebble whose plastic would quickly tear. Lego wants to maintain full control over its products and therefore does not allow any adjustments or printing. Lead is also said to have been used in Bricks' construction sets. "I can't add nutmeg to the scent at Chanel or have a Rolex chromed because I like it," the lawyer said. Conflict is about a stone But according to entrepreneur Alkema, the conflict only revolves around one stone to which a metal bearing can be connected. That would not have been a deterioration, but rather an improvement. 98 percent of the construction kit consists of original Lego bricks, said the lawyer for the Groningen company. Furthermore, there would be no confusion among consumers, as the boxes contain a disclaimer that the material is from Lego. 'What do you mean inferior quality? Everything can be destroyed,' the counselor said. 'HA Bricks is one of Lego's most loyal ambassadors.' The judge tried to see whether the parties could reach an agreement together, for example by replacing that stone. The entrepreneur from HA Bricks had offered this before and was willing again. But Lego's lawyer thinks that is not enough and stands firm: a sales ban. The judge will make a ruling on May 28. The original news article (in Dutch): https://www.rtvnoord.nl/112/1164034/lego-eist-verkoopverbod-voor-enumatilster-treinmodelbouwer The topic (in German) from Dirk: https://www.1000steine.de/de/gemeinschaft/forum/?entry=1&id=476825&lastid=1#lastid Personal comments: The entire cases pivots around a technic brick that they or maybe Bricktracks put bearings in. LEGO though: the Train community is annoying so let's hate them even more by working against some of their favorite model makers?! I don't know if they first tried it 'the friendly way' but I think it is in no one's interest to attack HA Bricks.

Yup, most people put their images on Flickr I think. They changed their policies not too long ago, so maybe some alternative suggestions: https://alternativeto.net/software/flickr/ (e.g. Google Photo's).

No idea at this point...

Haha, so now we can give our better part an original for a fraction of the price of the copy ;)

Not the same, but somewhat similar...

Great tutorial indeed!

A nice video review of all the Train sets we can vote for including the one from @Jefry Been and @Marooned Marin of course.

Stud.io and Mac big issue with Mouse input
JopieK replied to JopieK's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Studio was updated (2.24.1 and newer) and that resolved the problems. B.t.w. Switching to other operating systems is never a good idea to resolve these kind of problems, you will keep switching... I had those kind of problems in Windows, that is why I ditched that in the first place. Now I use macOS (Unix) and Windows (once every other month) and Linux (regularly). But running Windows in a virtual machine slows down Studio of course so it was very inconvenient. -
Stud.io and Mac big issue with Mouse input
JopieK posted a topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
macOS 14.2 and Stud.io don't like each other. Mouse clicks stopped working or clicks work but Studio freezes. Currently there are two workarounds: - downgrade to 14.1.2 or earlier - use another operating system See also: https://www.reddit.com/r/DigitalLego/comments/18j8gqu/macos_142_update_breaks_studiopartdesigner/ https://forum.bricklink.com/viewtopic.php?t=9775 Of the people reporting the issue I only see M1/M2/M3 Macs, I don't think it is related to the ARM silicon, but it might be. -
Very nice @brickbuilder711, it could even double as a turntable :)
