What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?

May I ask where you found these? I picked up Slave 1 earlier in Feb for my birthday. We also came across some new sets last night and picked up the Battlefront Empire battle pack. My son loves the "Dirty Storm Troopers", he is a huge fan of the jump pack in the game and loves to run up and trigger a take of when I'm in the heat of battle(he is 3...lol).
  2. Ok this is tough. I am just going to comment on the figs I own. I agree with a lot of what others have already said. 1. Slave 1 Boba Fett. Doesn't get much better than him. Great character, great printing, great collectibility. 2. TFA C-3P0 with red arm. The printing on this fig is fantastic. 3. Scout Trooper from Ewok Village. Always been a fan of this character and owning this one just makes me happy. 4. Captain Phasma. I just wish she didn't have a black head, but I guess we don't really know what she looks like so it makes sense. 5. Poe Dameron from Poe's X-Wing. The helmet seals the deal for me. I could say both figs from this set are a tie due to their fabulous helmet. Lego really has stepped up its game with the minifigs recently, I just wish the helmets stayed on better. Some of mine are very loose.

We picked up the Ewok Village this weekend. I got a few other non SW Lego sets for xmas but when the village came in stock I couldn't resist and exchanged those sets for this. It didn't help that my 3yo has been begging for this set since he watches all the youtube videos from other kids with theirs. I exchanged the Ninjago Temple and Morro Dragon sets for this one. I think it was a wise move.

We got Poe's X Wing, FO Transporter, and Rey's Speeder all within a week. I really enjoyed Poe's X Wing and the Transporter. I was not expecting to enjoy the transporter as much as I did and my 3 year old loves all the minifigs that came with it!

Grabbed a Poe's X Wing set at my local grocery store. They had ALL Star Wars sets for 20% off (yes, including the new TFA sets). I am tempted to back and get some of the others but my wife will kill me! I have spent a lot of money on Lego this month....oops....

    Simpsons 2015 Rumors and Discussion

I found 2 random Series 2 CMF packets at Target last night, when I went to ring up the cashier got a message saying they can't sell until 5/1 so she took them away...so close...

    Legends of Chima 2015

I picked up the Flying Phoenix Fire Temple for $30 bucks on clearance at a local grocery store. They had 2....should have grabbed them both. They also had the Star Wars Cantina for 17 but it was gone already :(
  10. I found the last 3 at a different Target in the Houston area! I now have a complete set! Woohoo!
  11. I found them today at Target in Pearland, Texas. I don't think I was the first to go through the box. I had checked on Monday and they were not there. Today, 2 days later they were picked through. I got 13 of the 16. I couldn't find the Disco Diva, the Unicorn, or the Hotdog guy. I really wanted that hotdog guy too! The search continues!
  12. My Princess and Jester's hat both have a weaker grasp on the head as well. When I first tested them I thought, what are you guys talking about, I can still hold the minifig in the air by the hat and have it not fall off, but when I compared them to the rest of the series I see what you mean. The other figs hats\hair grasp MUCH tighter. Oh well, as long as it is not falling off it is not a big deal to me.
  13. I got lucky with the pig. My wife stumbled upon a rack of them and knew I was looking for them and hadn't found any yet. She grabbed me 3 at random and one was the pig. When I finally found a rack to go through for the other 13 I went through about 40-50 packs, got all the other 13 I needed and didn't come across a single pig! Good luck with that one, it's out there!
  14. I too finally found a complete set (I think). The 2 local Targets to my area didn't have them but I drove past a 3rd on the way home from work and hopped in and they had a rack of them. Spent about 30-45 mins feeling the packages to find them all. I found a TON of Swashbucklers and had the hardest time finding the Pizza Delivery Guy and the Spooky Girl. I have only opened 5 so far as I like to savor the opening process....I'm a dork, I know....but I will report back once I have them all opened. I am so excited about this wave of minifigs! Edit: I forgot to mention Target had them for $2.99, NOT $3.99, so that was a bonus!

The Simpsons 2014 Rumors & Discussion

Ya it took me the longest to find Krusty. I came across 2 additional Apu's while searching for Krusty, maybe I should have grabbed them....Ralph and Milhouse were just the 2 that I couldn't determine due to accessories since they both have a 2x2 plate. The heads did seem to give it away.
