unimog123 replied to D3K's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Wow, nice job! This should have been the original set. -
[WIP] Pajero Pinin

I would say the servo is worth it, I also have 2 servos and I think they would work best for all three functions (steering, brakes, gearbox). -
Nokka Logging Trailer for Unimog
unimog123 replied to Pat-Ard's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks, it works now. I really like the small pneumatic cylinders for the outriggers. Nice job. -

Cool chassis. What are the gear ratios for each gear? -
[WIP] Pajero Pinin
unimog123 replied to piterx's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Nice job! Are you going to use an M motor for the brakes, like you did in the Fulvia, or are you going to use a Servo motor instead? -

Cool dozer! Great work on the loader as well. Also, how do you like the dozer? Are the functions sufficient? -

I can not imagine what you are feeling, but I give you my condolences and hope you can get through such a hard time. -
Nokka Logging Trailer for Unimog
unimog123 replied to Pat-Ard's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I like how the trailer extends, but I was unable to watch the entire video because it kept freezing. And my computer hasn't had any problems with watching videos before. Anyway nice job with the trailer! -

[MOD] 42008 with Power Functions
unimog123 replied to arachnid's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Truly amazing! I especially love the inline 4 cylinder engine and tipping cab. I also like the black rims better as well. -
Tomik's Creations
unimog123 replied to Tomik's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Great job on both models! Is the pull back motor strong enough to flip the tractor over because it is a bit top heavy? -

Nice job! Any pictures with the trailer extended? -
[WIP] Pajero Pinin
unimog123 replied to piterx's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Oh, well in that case it should be fine. -
[WIP] Pajero Pinin
unimog123 replied to piterx's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Looks good! Although if you have to add another gear plus a reverse gear it will end up being quite large. This could be a problem, but I'm sure you can figure it out. Can't wait for more! -
Yet Another Wheel Loader
unimog123 replied to Alasdair Ryan's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Great job! It drives very well and the arm functions seem fast, but still powerful. -

[WIP] Pajero Pinin
unimog123 replied to piterx's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Wow! That is a tight schedule. I think if you find that you don't have enough time, everyone would still want you to finish this no matter how long it takes. Good Luck! -
[WIP] 1968 Ford Mustang
unimog123 replied to VKTechnic's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Ok, well I hope you can model it as accurately as possible. Also I don't think I've seen a muscle car in this scale with these tires before, it should be interesting. I've tried to make an old sports car in this scale before and it was extremely hard to fit everything you want in it. Good luck! -
[WIP] 1968 Ford Mustang
unimog123 replied to VKTechnic's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Are you sure you'll be able to make it somewhat fast with only 1 L motor at this size? -
[WIP] 1968 Ford Mustang
unimog123 replied to VKTechnic's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Sounds good, what motors are you going to use? -
[WIP] 1968 Ford Mustang
unimog123 replied to VKTechnic's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Well that's understandable, but if it is going to be pretty much drive/steer then will it have good speed and performance? -
Thirdwigg's MOCs
unimog123 replied to Thirdwigg's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Nice truck, and good performance! -
[WIP] 1968 Ford Mustang
unimog123 replied to VKTechnic's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
This model looks very promising! Is it going to have any other functions besides drive/steer? Maybe a gearbox with realistic number of speeds, if it's big enough of course. -
Land Rover Defender 110 or Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500?
unimog123 replied to nato8181's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I think Sheepo's Land Rover is really cool, but the Mustang is more efficient with it's functions and looks much better.
