I returned to Target TTP a few hours later, and they have seriously restocked their LEGO board games. I'd argue there's more LEGO board games than other LEGO sets Anyway, they now also have Frog Rush and Banana Balance on the shelves.

Kmart TTP, indeed. They also have both of the new Star Wars battle packs. I'm getting restless, waiting for Pharaoh's Quest and series 3 minifigs.

Sightings today at TTP (Adelaide): kmart: Police Minifigure Collection at $15 ea TRU: A few Toa Undersea Attack at $24 ea, and series 2 collectible minifigs at $4 ea.

Looks like you have to search for "Pharaoh's Quest" to get them listed (http://productsearch.barnesandnoble.com/search/results.aspx?store=TOY&WRD=pharaoh%27s+quest&ugrp=1), but when I did this a few mintues ago it also said "A new copy is not available from Barnes & Noble.com at this time." Bummer, cause I'm also looking forward to these sets, but hopefully they will be available again soon. Looks like some sets are also available to order from Fishpond.com, although it's rather expensive.

Sounds like you may want to contact asharerin and see if he can help you out. I'm actually hoping for a price drop (no idea how much, though) this year. My local Targets/Kmarts/Big Ws seem to be reducing shelf space for LEGO, and filling up the old shelf space with megablocks and cobi etc., so hopefully there may be some healthy competition that will benefit us. Otherwise I'll just stick to buying when LEGO is on sale. Great news (apart from the series 3 price increase), with a bit of luck that means series 3 might be on the shelves on Monday. But $5... LEGO must be rubbing their hands.

On Friday I received a half year clearance email from David Jones saying "... save 30% or more on a great range of toys from LEGO, ...", so it might be worth ringing up or popping by to check for GEs.

Hm, and is it just me, or have Target/Kmart/Big W been preparing less shelf space for LEGO lately? Could be just the recent sales and yule sales, but they don't seem to replenish much LEGO stock, if at all

It's indeed a new release, they were just unboxing them and looking for a place to put them on the shelves when I was there. It's a pretty big box, so no doubt it would hold a 1000 bricks. Thanks for the info on the Offroad Power, I've been eyeing that set for a while, but have been holding off until the price is right.

I just came back from Big W at Golden Grove (Adelaide). They had two Power Miners Titanium Rigs on the shelves, still scanning at $50. I can't believe they're still around at that price, so I hung around for a while, waiting to point it out to some random parent looking for a great LEGO yule present. But they never came, so I left (but I picked up a LEGO Sort & Store on the way out). So, if you're still looking for the Titanium Rig, Big W at Golden Grove might still have them

20 % off LEGO sets on clearance at TRU, makes PoP and some Power Miners sets even cheaper. Spotted at TRU Gepps Cross, and TRU TTP (although at TTP they did not advertise the sale in-store, they're a bit lazy like that up there).
