Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day Three
KartoffelViking replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Actually, presuming the scum has infiltrated visitors and staff equally, wouldn't probability tell us there's a higher chance of lynching a piece of scum from the remaining staff members today? So if no evidence, circumstantial or otherwise, emerges today, I'd say we lynch a random staff member Except for Dreo, of course. We need someone to mix drinks for us, that's essential I do dig that this is no laughing matter, and I'm making a big presumption here. But after seeing all the blood and gore over the last couple of days I'm beginning to lose my cool and let the inner cynic take over. I'll be having a little nap now, you'll find me in the spa. -
Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day Three

Word! The viking king has spoken! And I think you make a very interesting point. The sudden shift in the voting yesterday confused me, and I will make sure to go over it again with a fine comb to find any clues worth pursuing. -
Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day Three
KartoffelViking replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Buya!! ...ka... Both Raquel and Claudia were townies?! Reality can be such a harsh mistress I'm surprised to see Claudia was a townie, she had been coming at me pretty hard trying to pry information out of me. She begged me to tell her if I was a cop or doctor, and even told me she would give me mouth to mouth if I told her. She seemed like a piece of scum to me. A buxom and pretty piece of scum, that is At least before those seagulls had their way with her And Raquel... I knew I should have listened to my gut feeling. I feel even worse now Excuse me while I go to my room and try to wash the blood off my hands. By thw way, anyone else noticed that only staff members have been killed so far? -
Four Barrels of Toxic Waste - The Conclusion
KartoffelViking replied to KartoffelViking's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks all for your comments Not that I'm aware of, but I haven't really looked, either. But once series 4 becomes widespread I'm sure someone will take the time to compile a "cheat-sheet" with the dots. Keep checking at these forums, or over at Brickset. -

Haha, I thought Mr. Crusoe was about to torture Raquel with a banana Could have been worse, I guess; it could have been a pointed stick -
Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day Two
KartoffelViking replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Oh my... The chef might have been a simpleton, but I would have expected a true innocent to do everything in their power to wiggle their way out of a lynching. I'm sorry, Raquel, but I will have to Vote: Raquel Benito Juarez (Raven Brickroft) I feel sick now -
Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day Two
KartoffelViking replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Oh no, it's like someone rewinded and pressed play on tape again. First the chef, now the maid?! I might as well have gone on a backpacker trip and stayed at youth hostels instead, making my own food and bed Dear Raquel, are you also tired of your job? I for one love how you tuck my sheets in and make that little V-shape on the end of the toilet roll I will hold my vote off for now, waiting for a response from you. But, you do seem to have lied to us, so your defence had rather be good. I need to have a little siesta now, while cateyeing the hotties strutting their stuff around here But when I get back, I hope you have told us your side of the story. Respect! Keith out. Ah, and Dreo; pour me an O.E., will ya? -

Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day Two
KartoffelViking replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I second that. I won't put my chips on anyone just yet, but as my mum used to say; scummy is who scummy does. And lying is scummy. (But no, I don't think chef was ever lying, his words just came out in a peculiar order. May he rest in peace.) -
Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day Two
KartoffelViking replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Whoah, it's early morning still and I'm suffering from information overload already. Dreo, a drink or two to wake me up, please Chef was innocent, let that be a lesson to us all that we should not be so eager to judge. But if the bad guys did not kill anyone last night, perhaps Mr. Crusoe came to his senses and gave back whatever he stole, so now we can enjoy our vacation again and get into the romance No..? Bummer. Indeed, but I guess the question everyone is asking themselves now is why would you say such a thing? I saw a lot of things yesterday, but I don't go around announcing it to the world. Hell, after my drinks and chill-pill yesterday I think I even saw the sea monster that Danielle keeps warning us about, no diggety -
That looks fantastic, frogstudio! I want to build one too, for when I get a whole team of hazmat guys The vehicle looks really stylish, but my gut feeling says it should have more lights on the roof. But I have no idea if it will look good or not. Great work

Thanks heaps for the raffle, CopMike! Here's my entry; The Magician's Container The great magician travels around the world with his mysterious container, and ginormous saw blade, to saw his willing assistant in half. (After he has sawed her in half, he moves on to the next city to find a new assistant.)

Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa

Yeah, the storyline and photos that go with it are great The shot of Mr. Crusoe with his arms against the window, realising his beloved Sunday is pinned to a palm tree is a classic that I will always remember I can only imagine the amount of work you've put into this game, Sandy, so thanks heaps! -
Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day One
KartoffelViking replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Oh man, I've been lying on the beach for hours pondering the situation and listening to my trusted boombox, and when I get back there seems to be a race on to see who gets the final vote in to lynch the chef. His last meal might not even be for himself. Poor chef But we have all seen the so-called evidence against Ravi by now, and it is really not very compelling. Are we really prepared to send a man to his death over a poorly worded sentence?! At the same time, Ravi seems to have accepted his fate. Ravi; have you no lust for life, or are you just tired of cooking? Is there anything you can share with us to sway the opinion in your favour? If you have any suspicions of your own, you could even cast your vote now, while it still counts. Now I really need a drink. And a chill-pill -
REVIEW: 8804 LEGO Minifigures Series 4
KartoffelViking replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks for the great and extensive review, WhiteFang. I feel a strong urge to put together a team of hazmat guys for the hazmat van (which I need to build first, of course). And I want a bunch of the other ones, too. Basically I want them all Thanks again! -
Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day One
KartoffelViking replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
If Ravi contacted Bridget to form an alliance, it is very suspicious, no diggety. But I hope you will share this solid piece of evidence with us before we start something that cannot be undone. I would also like to point out that there's a few people we haven't heard from yet, so let's not get ahead of ourselves. Not to mention we're still waiting to hear from Mr. Crusoe again. Yes, please, DJ, hit me with some of that pimp juice! -
Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa - Day One
KartoffelViking replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Bummer, so much for my well deserved vacation. While I feel sorry for Mr. Crusoe's loss, I must say I'm somewhat angered for being punished for him making enemies. The reasonable thing would of course be for Mr. Crusoe to return whatever he stole, but since he is now hell-bent on revenge, I guess we just have try and keep the bad guys from picking us off one by one. One thing is for certain, though; I will ask for a full refund when this ordeal is over. Now before we start pointing fingers and making accusations, I think we should wait until after noon when Mr. Crusoe has addressed us again, in case there is more information that can shed some light on this heinous crime. -
Hehe, thanks heaps! Letters from Sweden shouldn't take very long, so it should arrive any day now.
-
Hehe, I can easily imagine the excitement when you realised what the envelope was for Would you happen to remember when it was sent, and where it was sent from? Still waiting for mine, but suspect it may take a little longer for it to arrive in Australia. I'm getting very excited, though. And thanks for the review, I will have to do something similar.

CONTEST: Design a Direct-To-Consumer (D2C) set
KartoffelViking replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
While I certainly get the intention of the contest, I also don't understand this "Direct-to-Consumer" reference, and I would like some clarification. I tried searching for information about "Direct-to-Consumer" on the internet, but didn't get any wiser The first post from Bonaparte says "if you are not familiar with Direct-To-Consumer, some examples are 10193 Medieval Market Village, 10210 Imperial Flagship, 10194 Emerald Night, etc." Why are these sets considered D2C (compared to most other sets which presumably are not D2C)? Is it that they have a much more limited production run than most other sets, and traditionally were sold directly from LEGO to the consumer instead of being sold via retail outlets? -
Sign-ups to Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa
KartoffelViking replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'd love to join too, so please do consider me But I can't believe there's no electricity on the island... Does that mean there's no refrigeration?! No cold drinks?! No air-conditioning?! No cold places to keep dead bodies from decomposing... Oh well, I guess it means there's fewer distractions from the romance But I'll be sure to pack my pocket edition of the classic self-help book 'Lord of the Flies' in the suitcase, just in case things deteriorate That's it; I'm packed and ready to go if I can score a ticket!
