Barur looked a bit helplessly at his companions shopping frenzy...Although his dwarf consciousness made him enjoy owning things ,specially shiny ones, shopping was definitely not his game. 'Dear shopkeeper allow me to negociate my part as well. I'm interessed in a shovel and say 3 to 4 canteens. What would that price be,bearing in mind that I have not much pieces of gold to spend?' 'And if I may add,you look lovely today '

'Can't Boomingham work out a deal for all of us. Like buy in large quantities since we all will need canteens? Also we only need one map.As for the shovels I'm not sure. Does anyone already have one?'

'Show him the ring Sylph,maybe that will get us trough.But just in case,stand ready everyone,he does not remark me as the friendly type'

Barur takes a glance at the new captain as he mention the dwarf reading the personal letters.His mere interest was in the maps, as there could be something useful and also Barur just happens to like maps and charting. 'Good Sylph I think we should take this ring as it can be useful,as we port we can inquire about which province this belongs and what else we can do with it.We can also take this dagger,even if it is not a fighting worthy weapon,should get us some gold in the market' The dwarf goes back outside to where the fight occurred and picks up his pipe and puts it back on his pack. 'Land ho mates!We're almost there'

'Agreed' said Barur but his eyes were gazed at the charts and maps.'Is there any chance I can take a look at some of these first mate?' He then turned to his fellows adventurers and ,in a more sober tone, said ' I think we could be blinding ourselves with the glitter from the ring and dagger on the dresser my friends, we should probably try and ascertain what really happen here first. And lets not forget these are still the captain's belongings regardless of his current status... ' 'Mr.First Mate, in the absence of a live captain, you are appointed for his place, am I correct?'

Barur first instinct its towards the whitened corpse of the ship's former captain.Kneeling next to him,tried to heal him but in a second or two realized salvation was impossible. The clerk muttered some sort of prayer in his own dwarfish language and turned is yet to the rest of the party.'It seems evident that there was some struggle between the captain and the striker(s) and also that he was trying to fetch something'.Getting up the dwarf tries for the dresser's handle...

Taking a look at Sylph Barur nodes his head and takes a step towards the cabin. He had some questions for his companions regarding this Bacari fellow but they would have to wait....

Barur stumnbles back to his feet ' I'll attack swashbuckler from front row. I'll get it this time'

Barur grinds is teeth and thinks 'Already?' 'I´ll attack Crewman from front row' Barur shouts grabbing his staff and taking a more ready stance.

'Nice to meet you Amorith' Barur started noticing the other heroes of the assembled party...except for him and the good elf he just met all were experienced heroes from the quests he heard tell about in the hall. This took off some of the ansiousness that the dwarf had from this being is first quest. He sat at the bow,smoking from his limestone carven pipe and gazed at the sea before them. 'My good elf, your people are wiser than my own, what can we expect of this desert endeavour?'

Barur looks at his fellow adventurers 'Good bunch' he thought to himself. He had arrived to the ship just in time before departure,for he barely missed his name written for the quest. 'First quest and already of to sea' he wandered 'Pretty good start,I like the ocean'. Turning to is companions(he knew only a few and by sight) he presented himself 'I Barur of Clan Tormek,it is a pleasure to venture with you all'.He then focused on the first mate 'Shall we go and see the captain now?'

"Better sign up for quest 8 as well didn´t got picked for quest 5,hope I get luckier and get picked to one of the other"

"The three of us would probably make a good team against this pesky thief" Barur said out loud as to the quest owners might hear him. He patted the ogre in the back (not the mage,for he wasn´t completely comfortable with mages and as sign of respect) and went to the bar

The dwarf cleric shows up from behind Skrall with a huge grin on is face "Finally some work to be done fellow ogre! I see you signed up to catch thiefs,you are of a good heart after all" he said pondering " Maibe I will join you but with all this heroes signing may as well try for more than one" "I sign for Quests #4, #5,and #6 since number seven isn´t for my kind of services.Preferably the one with my fellow Skrall or quest number 4"

When the dwarf woke up the sun was already high up from the window where he sat. He had dropped is pipe when he fell asleep but someone,probably Skrall,had picked it up and placed it in the table next to him. 'The ogre' Barur thought remenbering last nights conversation 'I should probably go apologize...'. He found the Ogre on the other end of the Hall,speaking to a group of heroes that wasn´t there the night before.'The affluence to the Hall is stunning compared to lack of quests...' 'Excuse me master ogre,a word.' 'I must apologize for last night's words to you.I was weary from my travels and the subject was a sensitive one for me. I meant not to offend you or the ogre kin and for that I ask for forgiveness.' 'And now I´ll take my leave. I´ll go to town in search of supplies and return when there are quests to be accepted.May our paths cross again and be sure that I´ll fight along side you like a brother if the path is one of danger' 'Farewell,Skrall! The dwarf turned to the door but before exiting he got a glimpse of the mage he had heard call Cinna,the Dark. He got again a strange feeling although this was different the shadowy mage of the previous. 'Maibe our paths will also cross' the dwarf wandered as he exited the door into the mid day sun.

'So it is greed that moves you ogre' said Barur taking a glance at his own purse. 'Although in these harsh times I can´t say I blame you...' The dwarf took a big sip from his wooden mug reluctant to answer Skrall´s question about his coming to Eubrick. After a while he spoke, his voice grave and harsh 'It is not wise to stick your nose in dwarf business boy specially one you just meet' Barur took a breath 'But you were not rude in your question and I mean not to be rude myself. I will tell you this...I seek treasure myself...Not gold but a diferent kind...I lost something that it was not mine to lose.I may not return until I find it...I may never do...I'll at least redeem for what I have done... The dwarf looked aside and went quiet...with a gesture of his head he asked the ogre to step aside for a while. From his pouch he took a little pipe,made of rock,with runes engraved in it,runes the ogre (or all the humans in the Hall) could not understand.He put some herbs in it,lited it up by the fire and returned to the same place as before. The dwarf did nothing and said nothing until it dawned. As the first rays of light it the stained glass the dwarf was looking trough he spoke but one word '...Eowar'

After nodding back at the shadow mage ('perhaps is not has distrustfull as I first thought') Barur notice the ogre coming his way. Always a little uneasy near mages, the dwarf turned to the ogre who appeared to the a ranger of some sort... 'Greetings Skrall, do sit down and share a beverage. Though it as been a while also since i dealt with your kin,and the business then wasn't pleasant, I´m not one to judge on race,and after all you were kind enough to greet me. I hail from the northern side of the Baresh mountains,as they are called in these parts, where the hold of the Tormek clan lays, carven deep in those granite rocks. This is where i came from but what matters is where i go...how about you, young ogre, what brings you to the hall of heroes?' Barur spoke proudly of his home though there was something of a worry in his speech, the kind you get when you cannot return to the place you came from...

There Sandy,i got a image you can add me to the Hall! I´ll try and center it and also do make a real picture soon. Sorry i made the question on the quest master discussion,only did cause you mention it there. Barur ready for action...now all he needs is a quest Perfectly centered

I did meant additional help, besides the quests when the game is fully running you probably won´t need to host any more quests for there will plenty of adventures which will do it with pleasure. By additional help I mean drawing maps, designing the main plot, etc. If you need help with any of that let me know p.s. and hurry up with the 3 quests running ,i want more so i can join one

I also plan on hosting a few quests myself. Ideas are already brewing inside of my head There definitely should be more DM , you´re getting alot of players signing up Sandy. You are doing an amazing job with this and you probably have alot more planned out for our delight. Even so, should you consider some help (and in that I offer my full services and others would probably to), have you thought of that? It is harder to follow a path with more people aboard but it is better than letting this wonderfull idea get ruined. All the best, and look foward for some amazing quests from myself after I adventure a little
