[REVIEW] 40516 - Everyone is Awesome
greenalfonzo replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Pink should have been a more stereotypically "male" hairstyle. -
I hope it is done in a way so that if you buy 3-4 sets, you can build a single mega castle. 1. Keep 2. Gate house & wall 3. 2-3 towers (diff. designs & wall)

My annoyance is when I missed a cool figure, then when I try to buy it, I can't find it for less than $20 or something on bricklink.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 21. Rumors and discussion
greenalfonzo replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Not only that, but they could rerelease virtually any of them as recolors and they'd be just as popular. -
Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

Ok then, will there be a Diagon Alley 2 sometime with the Bank, Cauldron, and Borgins/Knockturn Alley? -
Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

So is this Diagon Alley set an expansion/add on to the one from 10 years ago? That one had the bank, Leaky Cauldron, and Borgin's from Knockturn Alley, none of which are in this set.... -
Lord of the Rings Ongoing Discussion

You might be right. The Viking CMF's helm mold is a perfect copy of Eowyn's. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 20. Rumors and discussion

I noticed Hot wheels blind bags have a clear patch the size of a paper punch on a back lower corner of the bag, so if you really want to, you can see what car is in it. -
Making this building *the actual former home* of the Baron makes no sense in the fairground/themepark setting. Even the elevator was the Baron's design?

I really liked this, but am having serious 2nd thoughts about actually getting it. I guess I would really like it to be more an actual haunted house, like others have said. There's enough vertical space to put in another floor without adjusting the structural build, and the elevator could be replaced with a staircase to the attic. The organ would be tricky. Maybe someone will do a really good mod I can follow to take out the ride aspect.

They are also releasing *2* pirate ships this year that both officially convert into a structure/hideout/pirate base after many years without a pirate ship at all. Indeed, you'd think they would have figured out how to space this stuff out a little bit better by now.

LEGO Hidden Side 2020

Super cool castle. Gonna combine mine with the MF one. Annoyed that HS is getting so many cooler sets than Scooby-Doo. -
New LotR action figures make me hopeful for Lego
greenalfonzo replied to lego the hutt's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Just that: the ruins easily pass for the ruins of Osgiliath, and a molded fellbeast was canceled in favor of a more traditional dragon. 6 figs makes for a nice bp as well. They've said they will sometimes use unproduced set designs in future or different lines. -

The new viking helm is a dead ringer for Eowyn's. Color it brown with a little more gold printing and you're there. It's actually possible that the helm is actually a prototype of hers from an old canceled set. There was a rumor that 2013's Dragon Mountain was just a retheme of a canceled Battle of Osgiliath set w/fellbeast. -
THE PIRATE BAY IS GOING TO BE AN OFFICIAL LEGO SET!!!!
greenalfonzo replied to Another Brick In The Wall's topic in LEGO Pirates
I think the only reason lego decided to approve the concept is because *they* had the idea of making it convert into a functional pirate ship. Without that added feature, I would virtually guarantee that the original idea would never have been approved.
