I just called TRU, and there is no data available....which means they didn't get them yet...in any store in the state. And if my name doesn't make it plain, I too am in Jersey.

That Germany catalog says April for these. I was under the impression these were coming in January? It would really suck if the catalog is right.

I called the NC Lego store, and they said it wasn't them. So it must be TRU or Target. I tried the main TRU number to have them check the country, but they said it wouldn't let him do the search, which suggests it might be Target, but who knows. I am absolutely NOT paying one of these scumbag scalpers an extra $80 for this. Just hope I can find it in time.

Are you kidding me? I'm a selfish parent for wanting to get my kid something I know she'll love on Christmas? Thats really what you're saying here? Cause if thats the case, its YOU who knows nothing about the "spirit of Christmas". I buy my kids toys throughout the whole year. I believe in rewarding good behavior and such. So everything they wanted that was in stores in Novemeber, they already have! Plenty of Monster High came out this month, but not much else. And as I said before, what she wants most is LEGOS! Am I suppose to buy her sets she doesn't want? More than that, what about the 5 days between Christmas and the 1st is so important to Lego? It wasn't a problem last year when I got her all the Princess sets, so why do they feel its so important to hold them back this year? The only thing I can think of is its to push people to buy older sets that didn't sell well. And that is complete and utter crap! It wouldn't kill them to put sets out in November instead of January. Sales would still be the same. Since becoming a parent, the most important thing about Christmas is my kids. Some of my fondest memories growing up are from Christmas mornings. I want to give them the same memories. There will be NOTHING in the spirt of Christmas, Santa, or anything else if I have to take her to the store on January 1st. If you think that makes me a bad parent, you can go scratch sir.

I was just informed by 2 different lego stores that these have a hard release date of January 1st. I tell you now that if I do not get this Frozen set for my daughter BEFORE Christmas day, I will never buy another Lego ever again. Atop my daughters list is Legos. I buy them for her throughout the year, and she has all she wants that is already out. There is absolutely NOTHING special about giving this to her on Janauary 1 st. Watching her unwrap it on Christmas morning however....and seeing her eyes light up....thats what parents aim for on that day. So I don't care what the reason is, license or whatever, it is completely heartless and incredibly un kid friendly to this. I got all the Princess legos before Christmas last year, so what the hell is problem for this year! But hey, if they don't want my buisness any more, fine by me. At least I have a chance with TRU ignoring the ridiculous dates like they usually do.

I should have said no GOOD reason. And I don't think there is anything for girls coming out next month, and Jungle Friends sets are absolutely atrocious. So what is set I'm suppose to buy a girl this Christmas? I already bought my daughter the first 2 Ariel sets, and with no Ursula, I'm not getting this new one. So hopefully I can score the other 3 and some Elves sets before the holidays.

I find it incredibly annoying that these Princess lego have to be slated for a January release. That leaves about a 10 day window to get them before Christmas, and that Frozen set is going to fly off the shelves. There is no reason whatsoever to not make the release date December 1st to make it easier on us.

Got them from the back at Target yesterday. Rang up at $2.99. All is well.

If LOTR is done, then I'm done collecting Lego. I currently buy three themes, 2 for my daughter, and 3 for my son. It was LOTR that influenced me to start buying them in the first place, and stopping before giving us a Witch King, Fell Beast, Faramir, and Sauron is downright insulting! I will have NO problem giving it up.
