  4. Recently I've seen, that at the beginning of the Austrian section still my very first decals are linked. I've replace them with some much nicher (based on Mosana style). Maybe you can also replace them in the index. You find them also on: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=289972 Maybe you find also this php script from my minifig generator usefull: http://minifig-gen3....ry.cgi?f=289972 the syntax is: minifig-gen3.mac-au.eu/extract-img.php??url=<brichself-gallery you want to list> (if needed a version to generate automatic code which can be easily inserted in this forum can also be provided) Thanks Woody64 Austria Austrian Artillery Officer by woody64 Austrian Artillery by woody64 Austrian Chevauleger by woody64 Austrin Cuirassier by woody64 Austrian Cuirassier Officer by woody64 Doctor by woody64 Erzherzog Karl by woody64 Heavy Dragoon by woody64 Leutnant Hensel by woody64 Hussar by woody64 Infantry Private 1 by woody64 Infantry Drummer by woody64 Infantry Private 2 by woody64 Infantry Officer by woody64 Lancer by woody64 Landwehr Corinthea by woody64 Landwehr Salzbury by woody64 Landwehr Corinthea NCO by woody64 Landwehr Salybury NCO by woody64 Landwehr Corinthea Officer by woody64 Landwehr Salzbury Officer by woody64 Light Dragoon by woody64 Light Infantry by woody64.jpeg Light Infantry 2 by woody64 Light Infantry Tyrolian by woody64 Light Infantry Tyrolian Officer by woody64
  5. Maybe it's time to share my newest items: My order and two orders of development partners are on the way and I hope to show an example of the items soon: Two are already available (SciFi M and Podest in Transparent Detailed) Woody64
  6. Today some new items have arrived: - Mich - Podest - Paratrooper Helmet - Pilotka - Backpack - Field Cap with glasses - Pauldron N All items arrived in black or white detailed. There are some small adaptations needed which I have already done and uploaded to shapeways. The biggest changes got the Backpack and the Pauldron, where I've decided to use a smaller ring where the head is sitting on the ring (as Lego does). The one in the picture shows the bigger ring where the neck of the head is fitting inside the ring. Some more photos will follow in two days ... Woody64
  7. I've received the 1st version of my Brodie Helmet. Here are the first pictures: The helmet was already ordered by Evan which published his photo here:: Under the shapeways item I've uploaded some more pictures ... http://www.shapeways.com/model/27526/brodie_helmet.html Woody64

    Brodie Helmet

In the last days I tried to make the process of material plus coloring as much reproducible as possible. To verify that I've used three different colors to check if the results can be achieved with a broad type of products. The material always was transparent detail resulting in the smoothest surface currently possible. Black: Acryl colors (for brush) from the paper and hobby shop nearby (Marabu) Grey: Spray from the house builder market Silver: Acryl spray color from the paper and hobby shop. That's the result: Woody64

As always Michaelozzi did a great job!!!!!!!! ModgePodge sealant or even some kind of polyurethane is a very good advice. I will try that. Maybe you can take a look on this picture. There I have experimented with some coats. Maybe that comes more nearby. Woody64

Pieces fresh out of the mold

Really interesting. Would also be interested in the technique and the material he has used. How many pieces did he make? Is it correct that these are all standard lego pieces copied by a mold? If yes, would be really interesting if you mold a real custom piece and see the results! Woody64

You're right the kind of epaulettes LEGO has are not historically correct. But good point, maybe it's worth to think over two custom items? You find the original for the scene below at the cover and you find the 3 types of epaulettes used by the British army also in these two pictures. Woody64
