The rolled hug as people have also mentioned, and the candlesticks (are they skateboard wheels btw?..), and esp. the inner wall building/decorating style are awesome! And the scene as a whole is very dramatic.. Wish you the best of luck with the rest of your story (and designs, of course!) which I am looking forward to see more of.

Genious build! I love all the details, esp. the way the nature elements (field, trees, ..) are designed. Also the catapult is very realistic. And above all, the drama of the scene behind the walls are fantastic. Women of the old town look terrified, men are running to support the soldiers with whatever they have in their hands (esp. forks!).. Love it as a whole!

Do not worry about the lights. I am no expert either in photography or lighting, but I take shots with a smartphone, a battery torch, and sometimes candles yet the results are occasionally very satisfactory. Yes, candles! Your creation looks very suitable for using candle lights. Just try to put a few candles behind the high hills, so that they do not show up in the shot, but their lights do. (assuming you already set up the dark background) I am already excited about the possible results! :))

Just noticed the way you used the whip utensil/weapon on the camel's neck. Love the details! :)

Loved the green van! Not over-complicated, but also not missing any detail. Scaling and color scheme is very good. Keep up the good work!

This deserves to be presented in an official Lego LOTR event somewhere. Great work! Only improvment to this wonderful scene might be a dark background and relative lighting. Just my opinion.. It is great as it is, anyway!

Hi everybody, My name is Serhat, I am 33 and live in Turkey. Lego was always my favourite toy, but it was very hard to find sets in Turkey back in those years I have been growing up. Yet I was lucky, because my family used to live in the US for a few years and my elder brother had bought some sets (back in late 70s) there. So those classic town sets were my first Lego, waiting for me before I was even born. Even though my Lego people were faceless and motionless, houses were vacant and cars were without drivers; I still remember those old Lego as a priceless gift that was given to me. I believe it helped me shape my future in some sense, by granting me an essence of creativity in those early years. Now I am grown up, working in a job where I strongly benefit from that creativity, and there are so many resources that I can buy myself the Lego I want, which nearly a year ago led me to discover the afol in me again! I am passionate about collecting minifigures (not only the collectible series, they are all collectable to me, esp. the ones in SW & LOTR sets) My hobby is taking photos of the scenes I set up using my figs (and sometimes accompanying little builds). I am not sure if I can call them "MOC"s, since they might not fully fit in this category. My profile pic is one example to what I am trying to describe. Hi everyone, Though I have been a reader on the forum for a longer period, I am new here as a member. I have read all the guidelines and faqs kindly provided by the moderators, but still I am not sure about this, so I decided to ask. I am creating some scenes with minifigures in it and taking photos, but most of the time there are no other elements of Lego in the picture. An example is here: So, I am wondering whether this is considered as a "MOC" or not. As far as I have seen over the web, MOC's always contain at least some brick-built elements, such as a 8x8 vignette that the minifig is a part of. Mine are different in that sense, at least this one is. So should/could I still post this to Historic Themes forum, since this is western? Or is there any other forum more suitable for this? Again, I have read all the guidelines, but could not be sure. Many thanks in advance & best regards, -- Serhat
