Quality of service at LEGO stores.
cocabottle replied to Gatthekid's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Last time in Oberhausen they spent 15 minutes searching for my VIP account in the computer because I didn't bring my pass. So service is top notch there imho. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures - The LEGO Movie Series Discussion
cocabottle replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I just bought 4 more today, the box was on the counter so I was able to 'feel' them all. Still need five: Emmet, Shakespeare, the mermaid and two of the 'evil' figs. -
I did this last month and did it for around €200. And if you want to be a pureist; the window frames LEGO is offering via BnP are not the correct ones used in Market Street I believe. MS has the old container frames and BnP has a new and upgraded version offered. I'm still missing 10 2x1 earth blue bricks which I'll order later this week.

I was thinking exactly the same. Love the car though.

Mine has been sitting on my shelf for a couple of days now. It is a real masterpiece, both interior and exterior are superb. I especially love the building techniques for the liqour cabinet, the roof ornaments and the refrigerator. I also love the dark blue of the roof and the rough-looking chimney.

How do you display your modular building collection?
cocabottle replied to yanathin's topic in LEGO Town
Expedit for me too. I have them al on a 5x5 in this order: Palace Cinema - Pet shop - Town Hall - Fire Brigade - Parisian - Market street - Grand Emporium - Pet Shop House (around the corner). I still have space for one large modular if I replace the pet shop to the other side of the Palace Cinema (around the corner). The buildings come all the way to the edge of the shelf. -
Got the Parisian last weekend, so what remains for now: - Mars Rover - Delorean Time Machine - Architecture Eiffel Tower - LEGO Movie Ice Cream Van - LEGO Movie Trash Chomper - Some minifigs (Washington, Shakespeare) And I hope to obtain the Cafe Corner this year.

Definitely getting one, together with the Parisian Restaurant!

Hey guys, this is my first reach out to the AFOL community. I have been playing with LEGO for all my life and I have always bought new sets up to now, latest set is the Winter Village Market. My favourites are the Modular Buildings and I started bricklinking Market Street last week. Next project will be my first modular MOC. I'm also new on Bricklink. Bye!
