Construction Site set for delivery tomorrow. Nice little surprise. The Lego Store would give me back order update emails all the time and never got any for the CS. So much for yard work this weekend!

I went to three Lego stores this past weekend and they all said that they will not be getting anymore shipments of PS and PC. So it looks as though both could be gone soon. PC has also been later ship dates as well.

Just ordered 10218 Pet Shop. And another series 12 minifig. Love them double points!

Just ordered my first modular 10211 Grand Emporium. Two pk of straight and crossroad plate. And then to make it as close to $200 as possible I got another Simpsons Minifig. Got the balloon cart as well. And then as I was finishing my order...BACKORDERED!!!!!!! Grand Emporium backordered 30 days. Didnt say that when I clicked add to bag. DOH!

Picked up 2 of the 31012 Family House. Barnes & Noble had a BOGO 50% off deal on the 14th.

TRU has a BOGO sale right now. Picked up 60016 Tanker Truck, 60017 Flatbed Truck, 60025 Grand Prix Truck, and 4434 Dump Truck. Total spent was about $73. Pretty happy with the purchase. It ends on the 7th so may go back for more. Very tempting.

Just picked up LEGO Passenger Train #7938 and the City Train Station 7937 from TRU. Priced matched them both with Walmart. Excitement level is through the roof. First build in 20 years.

Hi, after about a 20 year hiatus, it's time to bring out my inner child again. Im 33 from California, US. The main reason for getting back into LEGO is my 20 month old son. So the first set will be the cargo train and will build a city around it. Even though I haven't done anything with LEGO besides the occasional build with my nephew, I would always take a stroll down the LEGO aisle in the local stores. Was always a good time when I used build, which is why I want to get back in with my son. It is pretty shocking how far the sets have come since I was a child. The modulars and all the MOC I have been viewing over these past few weeks have just blown my mind. The creative thought process some of the folks here is just,well for the lack of a better phrase, "pure genious." My original build will be on a 4x8ft table top. Probably MDF. As stated earlier the train will be our first build. I look forward to many convos in the future as I have tons of questions.
