  1. Grum - another excellent journey, thanks for sharing, and again, we all live vicariously through your builds! But each end is another beginning - so, what's next?
  2. 3: 10 6: 6 9: 4 10: 3 7: 2 11: 1 All of the models look great, and it was hard to pick for this list. I was going to enter, my son and I got as far as one landing gear, a propeller and part of a wing for something, so I appreciate all of the effort that went into all of the entries, they are all winners in my book.
  3. Nice review, as usual. Although I was never a Ford person, you may have turned me .
  4. Reminds of a Springsteen tune for some reason; well done Lego.
  5. Take a look at the recent Apollo rocket, may give you some ideas, especially the first stage.

[REVIEW] 81000 Koi - Lego Forma

I just got mine today - each of the three additional skins in its own slim cardboard envelope. Won't have time to build for a while, though. I will likely get extra parts from BL to have at least two in display at the same time.

    LEGO Ideas Discussion

I suppose I can make a Phoebe sings "Smelly Cat" MOC now
  8. So, did they finally remove the "do not use outdoors" recommendation was used for PFs?

    LEGO Forma - 2019

Any US-based members received their sets yet? I'm still waiting...

    Boston - Architecture Skyline

Very well done, probably the best selection of iconic items to include. The Shaw Memorial would have been nice, but would have been very challenging to fit it.
  12. Well, FWIW, I once purchased a "NIB" 8110, but the box had a large, 10 cm, hole in it, sitting on the store shelf. Opened it at the store, in the presence of the salesperson, (and thanks to the review here on EB) I was able to confirm all of the bags and parts were present. Got it at 50% off.

    Review: 70841 Benny's Space Squad

Nice little set and review, but I find the head photo / front page photo somewhat misleading as it includes elements not found in this set.
  14. I was "ManagerFlakyTeeth" what the ...??? Now I am "ChiefSecretiveEagle" much better
  15. Who knew Technic could be so entertaining! What a massive build and great video, truly impressive - I especially like the use of the curved gear racks from the BWE.
  16. I suppose, as long as you are not in a hurry. Is the torque due to use of BuWizz, or can any power source work just as well?
  17. Uefchen - yet another Rube-Goldbergesque creation! I really admire how you are not afraid to get your parts wet and/or contaminated with food, etc.
  18. The upcoming https://shop.lego.com/en-US/Move-Hub-88006 seems more useful and interesting, with two built in servo motors and a tilt sensor, plus two I/O connectors, listed for $79.99 Not sure if there is any sets using this part, could be a hint for what is coming in second half 2019?
  19. I'm not feeling the 'Vette - maybe once reviews come out or we see it in the flesh. If its being marketed as a Corvette, it should be immediately recognizable, and this is not - better to have been a larger model or have some new parts to achieve the look, rather than compromise. So many small details are off, that the whole is disappointing. Will remain open-minded, though.
  20. So much for Corvette-anticipation. Maybe I'll buy an extra-Tron ideas set instead... The cherry picker, while nothing new or creative, would be a great introduction to Technic for a 5-6 year old. Easy to build, has functionality, etc. and looks like something familiar while clearly showing how the function works.
  21. Nice job ZBLJ! Wonder if adding track studs would help the performance on the indoor slope test?
  22. New parts are not idly created- wonder what they have in store for us 2H19 or 2020? I am not a fan of the A model, B seems a bit more suited to the tracks and oversized sprocket. Also, this set passed the 11-year old approval test, so I am guessing TLG knows what it is doing. I am going to guess that we will see something similar every two to three years.
  23. If I was a Porsche fan, I'd be ecstatic over this set - iconic, great display, decent price point, etc. But alas, not for me.
