They are, good spot! They added a nice detail I thought though it meant making them one plate taller than the official ones

These are my Brickheadz of Captain Kirk and Mr Spock from Star Trek. I have tried to stay as close as possible to both the look of the characters and the official Brickheadz, except for the eyes which are not currently available in LDD.
If you would like to build them, the instructions are available at https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-14988/MICHAEL1/kirk-and-spock/
Thank you for looking, any comments or questions welcome!

I have redesigned the set, adding more detail and improving on some of the designs.
The City Hall has been given more detail and a larger grass area in front
Titanic Belfast has been given lighter coloured glass and rotated 45 degrees as this better resembles the shape of the real building
The Obel has also been given lighter coloured glass, more in keeping with the real building.
Samson and Goliath have been completely redesigned as I was not happy with the shape of them. Also, based on some pictures taken from above, I have only seen them from the ground, I realised that the jib is actually two parallel bars and not a single piece as I thought. Samson is now also taller than Goliath, as in real life.
Thank you for looking, you can still support the Belfast Skyline at;

This is my addition to the Skyline series, a version of my home city Belfast.
I have tried to design it to be as close to the official sets as possible in both its size and level of detail. Like the six official sets, it contains four major landmarks, which have been designed to be in proportion (as far as possible) with each other. This image was rendered from Digital Designer, as some of the pieces which would be needed do not exist in the required colours, there is also a space for the printed Belfast name plate.
From left to right, they are;
1) Belfast City Hall
The smallest building in the set, the City hall features some sand green elements which (to my knowledge) do not yet exist. There are many memorials and statues in the grounds of the building, but I have chosen to represent the most prominent one which is of Queen Victoria.
2) Samson and Goliath
The two cranes which stand in the Harland and Wolff ship yard, in reality they are in fact different sizes, but I have chosen to make them the same height. In reality they would need printed "H & W" elements to complete them.
3) Titanic Belfast
The museum to the RMS Titanic is the third building and would also need a printed "Titanic" sign on the brown piece. Beside it is the SS Nomadic, a vessel from the same era as Titanic which acts as a small museum.
4) The Obel Complex
Obel Tower is Belfast's (and Ireland's) tallest building, so it was a natural choice for the set, the curved pieces for the windows do not exist in trans. blue. Outside is what locals call the 'Big Fish', an art installation.
Thanks for looking, and all comments and constructive criticism are welcome!

This is my entry for the Winter Village Contest.
The department store has four departments, Food, Home, Clothes and Toys. While it is at the larger end of Winter Village models, I have tried to make its design consistent with the official sets in the series using similar colours and elements such as the black lampposts.
The food department has fresh fruit and vegetables, bakery, cans and cereals meat including Christmas turkey and fridges full of cartons.
The home department has dishes pots and pans, mugs, a coffee machine, crystal glasses, Christmas decorations, flowers and luggage.
The clothing department is mostly made up of mannequins and some other folder clothing
The final department is toys, consisting of a teddy bear, space ship, a train set and other toys as well as Santa and his presents.
Thank you for looking, and sorry about the bad pictures!

Anyone in the U.K., Tesco are selling 2017 City sets. I just picked up the pizza van
-
I've been thinking of the CMF Judge, Doc Brown's hair and maybe a cape for Pertwee's Doctor, not sure what face I'd use though.
-
I used Alfred from the Batman Lego for the second doctor, I used Lincoln for the eleventh doctor, as he appears in his final episodes
-
This was mine, summer 1989! It was the biggest set in my collection then, needless to say that title has long since been passed on!
-
Highland Battler from Series 6 was a direct reference to Braveheart. Although, I'd love to get another Celtic warrior.
My bad! Maybe though we could get a more traditional look with the over shoulder kilt, or a Welsh or Irish Celt?
-
Here are my guesses;
1. The Invisible Man, he's probably the only 'classic monster' character not done yet
2. Medieval minstrel with Lyre
3. Dentist with new drill piece and the mirror on a stick thing they use to look at the back of teeth
4. Canadian Mountee, it's been a while since we had a 'national dress' type figure
5. Cricketer
6. Bomb disposal officer, perhaps with a robot?
7. Jilted Bride, similar to the one we have but with tattered dress, wilted flowers and smudged make up (if the Groom doesn't show up soon this could be a reality)
8. The tooth fairy
9. News reporter
10. Person in dog costume
11. Celtic warrior (like Braveheart)
12. Hairdresser
13. Old British officer, like Michael Caine in Zulu (I think is old enough to be acceptable)
14. Living Statue
15. Mayor
16. Flight attendant
-
With official Dr Who minifigures now on the way, these seem kind of redundant, but I thought I'd post them anyway!
Twelfth Doctor
Davros
Dalek
-
Jack isn't such a serious character, I would suggest a more jovial face, maybe Han Solo?
-
Is this available in europe? Since we don't have thanks giving here.
It is in the UK, I bought mine today!
-
I would like to see either sand red, or some of the pastel colours from the Friends sets, used properly they could give a faded, weather worn look.
-
Would the invisible man be all transparent clear then?
I imagined him as having a clear body, legs and hands, a clear head with sunglasses printed on it and the CMF graduate robe in brown with brown arms and a fedora.

Mr Wint and Mr Kidd
(Diamonds Are Forever)
"If first you don't succeed Mr Kidd"
"Try try again Mr Wint"
Two of Blofeld's most feared assassins, Wint and Kidd are never seen apart. They are assigned to close down a diamond smuggling pipeline and later to eliminate Bond himself. They employ a wide range of weapons including bombs, crematoriums and live scorpions.

Here are my suggestions (based on no inside information whatsoever!)
1. Cricketer
2. The Invisible Man
3. Busker with guitar and maybe a guitar case with some coins
4. Gardener
5. Astronaut, I know there are dozens already but this could be a little more retro Apollo era with the fishbowl type helmet
6. Dentist
7. Aging Rock Star, think Elvis in his final years
8. Fire Eater
9. Miner
10. Stone Mason
11. Person in dinosaur costume
12. Morris Dancer
13. Old British officer (think Michael Caine in Zulu, I think it would be allowed since its pre 20th century)
14. Giant, like Jack and the Beanstalk, maybe using the long legs from Toy Story
15. Professor
16. Groom, maybe with a calm and a nervous face!

Apologies for the long delay, but here are four more Bond villains!
Karl Stromberg
(The Spy Who Loved Me)
"Observe Mr Bond, the instruments of Armageddon"
Stromberg is a shipping tycoon obsessed with life under the sea, so much so that he plots to start a nuclear war, forcing people to live in his undersea cities. I have based this figure on Stromberg's final confrontation with Bond.
Hugo Drax
(Moonraker)
"Mr Bond, you persist in defying my efforts to provide an amusing death for you"
Obsessed with the conquest of outer space, Drax has a self funded space program with a fleet of space shuttles and space station, but secretly plans to wipe out life on Earth and replace them with his own perfect specimens. Drax wears a number of outfits in the film, including a dark suit, all of which have a Drax Space Program insignia which looks a lot like this Ultra agents badge.
Kamal Khan
(Octopussy)
"You have, a nasty habit, of surviving"
Khan is an exiled Afghan Prince who now resides in India where he operates a jewellery smuggling ring with Octopussy, however he secretly plans to double cross her and use her traveling circus to smuggle something else into West Berlin, a nuclear bomb. Khan wears a number of traditional Indian outfits in the film, and this one I feels best represents his look.
Franz Sanchez
(Licence to Kill)
"Loyalty is more important to me than money"
Sanchez is the most feared drug lord in all of South America, operating a vast cocaine smuggling empire. When he is arrested by the DEA, Sanchez escapes and attacks Felix Lieter, an American agent and incurs the wrath of his best friend, James Bond.

So what head is that? I traded for it with a friend so I have no idea what head that is.
I'm actually not sure myself, I think it may have been the driver from 76015
-
Oooooh, i really like these. Good job!
Thanks! My favourite is the regeneration
-
Seeing the Dr Who customs here has inspired me to show off some of my own, hope you enjoy!
The Ninth Doctor
regenerating into...
The Tenth Doctor, complete with preserved hand
The Eleventh Doctor, as he appears in the anniversary special and his final episode when he switched from the tweed jacket to a waistcoat and longer coat.
The lost War Doctor from the anniversary special, carrying the bag containing the 'Moment'
And The Doctor's arch enemy, The Master, who as a fellow Time Lord can also regenerate...
The Master AKA Professor Yana
The Master AKA Harold Saxon
Comments and Critique welcome, hopefully I'll be posting some more soon!

That's a pretty comphrensive breakdown, thank you for the clearly extremely thorough research you did! I'm constantly looking for ways to improve all the figures I make so your insight is very welcome!
With regards to both Dr No and Grant, I am planning to keep them as they are for the time being, Dr No's hair is definately slicker and shorter than the piece you suggested, and Grant's, particularly in the scenes with Bond on the train is quite neat and tidy, the book in particular also described him as being blond.
Goldfingers face I was never happy with but I like your suggestion (I even think I have it somewhere) it also frees up that face for someone else which is a welcome bonus.
Elektra and Silva are definately two characters I want to revisit, the extensive list of outfits will definately help improve her and also make Miranda Frost another character I have been considering. For Silva I'm still not happy with the police uniform idea, but his other outfits have me stumped so far!
Zorin does actually wear a dark suit with light trousers during the final scenes in San Francsisco (it was big in the 80s) similarly, I based Renard off the scenes in the submarine where he wears what seems to be a black leather jacket and dark jeans.
I like the idea of giving Le Chiffre playing cards, except that the Casino Royale Bond has them, but the CMF jester came with individual cards so I may give him one of those. The head is the one you suggested, as it has the same scar over the eye.
More villains are on the way, so watch this space, I would love to hear your thoughts on them!
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
in LEGO Town
Posted
I saw the DD in the flesh for the first time today at the Manchester Lego store and I have to say the photos don’t do it justice, if I could make one change it would be to restore the classic smiley faces, I hope future modulars go back to them, they’re a cute feature that sets the modulars apart from anything else Lego produces
