Great job and nice little bit of fun! Got all but Clark Kent for some reason. Completely blanked on him >< You are missing Killer Croc and Alfred though! And maybe you could count power suit Luthor as something different as he was attached to a game!

This is pretty cool, though the immediate thing I thought about the costume is that it's nearly identical to his costume in 'Flashpoint', which is a very odd choice considering he's a villain there and does some very gruesome things. I don't know much about plastic man though so if someone could point me in the direction of another instance of this costume being used I'd be happy to see! :D Spoilered just in case its a little graphic for some!

I loves it! I was going to buy this set anyway, but this review has reinforced my need to acquire it as soon as possible! Great job both Whitefang and Brent! ^^

Thanks guys again :D John Constantine and Swamp Thing are up now! You should give it a go. I wasn't any good at first but I posted anyway! People here are nice and friendly, as long as you avoid sharing your opinion about comics! There are still plenty out there better than me too! But, always room for improvement! Am also working on something a bit bigger for Batmans 75th!

MOC: The Temple of the Twin Jaguars

This is absolutely beautiful. I get the wonderful feeling of exploration and discovery just looking at it! Thanks for sharing ^^- 32 replies

Thanks a lot guys. Just put up Zatanna for your enjoyment! Haha, people ask me that stuff all the time, but my business sense is appalling :( Thanks! It's not actually Black Flash, but the New 52 reverse Flash who has a different origin to the other two. I just liked his strikingly different style. ^^ Thanks hugely. I do try and keep my figures looking near enough to the style and printing that TLG actually use. I do however take some creative liberties. ^^ Actually got me a couple of interviews with them but didn't manage to get all the way sadly. Will keep trying though.

I think Jesse had with and without and definitely without as Liberty Belle. Also off the top of my head, John Fox (Temporary Flash), Iris West (Impulse) and Johnny Quick from the JSA didn't! There are far too many speedsters >> Sorry, 'were' far too many! I think it's just whoever draws them I guess! On a side note! There's a nice little shot of the Flash from the upcoming show at the end of this! :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocgaUkG5CtM

Thanks guys :) Haha, I was going to bump after I put a couple more on, I promise! I've started working a little differently as I'm sure you've noticed! Working on Zatanna at the moment among other things! And planning a special Batman thing for 75years! Am also messing around with this one as I did this before my computer blew up and I got a new one. Needs a bit of tidying up and a background haha. Black Adam also seems to look a bit like a Scooby Doo villain, and I'm sure he would've got away with it too if it wasn't for those meddling kids.

Awesome work guys. I have caught some of it from around the web before and was impressed! It is extremely fun and you capture the essence of the sets magnificently!

Don't get me wrong, I'd love them to. We can always hope!

That's a fair point, but might raise another issue. TLG might think the market is too saturated already :P

Unfortunately, I imagine a CMF is well out of the question at the moment with regards to DC. There's probably some licensing issues with regards to these Scribblenauts Unmasked figures being blind bag 'miniature figures'. I'd guess it'd be a similar thing to the whole Star Wars individual figure issue, but hey, I'm all for it if there is no problem!

Totally, even just the boot printing would have blown it out of the water for me. But I guess the trouble is decent boot printing has to be done on 3 sides which is a bigger expense than most other leg printing, and anything else will most of the time just look odd.

Just to clear this up once and for all, it's New 52 Flash based on Jim Lee's designs from 'Justice League' (Though I should add that it's Francis Manapuls adaptation for 'The Flash' comics, which I've actually enjoyed! New 52 isn't all bad!). The seams only tend to glow when he's running or another artist fancies lighting them up anyway, so it's not a big thing they're not there. Belt, Logo and Chin guard are all clear indicators! :D I'm working on some bits for a review of the set at the moment. Sorry for being a smart Alec by the way but I figure only specifics are safe around here!

I'd be quite happy with that, they didn't change his look all that much ^^ Was also quite happy with what they did with Star Sapphire in the New52 so might revisit my old Superhero piccies once I get a main computer up and running again! With regards to the next wave, I'm certainly looking forward to new characters, and hopefully a daily planet. Maybe they put it aside because it would be too much like the daily Bugle. I won't say I was disappointed with the current wave, but it didn't really grab me.

I'm afraid I'll have to correct you on this. :P It definitely is the New 52 Flash. The dead giveaways are the belt, logo and the 'chin guard'. Barry Allens original belt is not symmetrical but his New 52 one is, similar to Wally Wests in appearance but usually with more points on the jagged edges. The Logo is also the raised variant in which the lightning bolt 'fuses' with the yellow rim around it, New 52 again! The lightning seams are only supposed to really show up when running at superspeed (But not always, depending on the artist) , I guess they might also be a bit much for the figure. ^^ I think they've all but dropped the classic costumes this year looking at the SDCC New52 Arrow too, but I guess I don't mind. They're not all bad!

As I said on Flickr, this is awesome! Some great little purist figures there and a very clean set of speed lines. If I were to point out one thing though. It's Rogues, not Rouges. Rouges is more of a makeup thing :D Minor nitpick aside, I love it!

Great work as usual. Probably my favourite from you, but I think I may be a little biased. I have the Christo Flash, tis a beautiful figure and you've definitely done him justice with some clever techniques and great sense of movement! 2 massive thumbs up. Ps : Flash wins...no question

Most excellent review! Being that I was too late to get the original, I decided to invest in this a week or two back and I wasn't disappointed. It's a tad expensive but I managed to get £15 worth of vouchers from Argos with it so that made it more bearable! Anywho, I love the figures without a doubt and it's awesome that Lego is starting to populate the Galaxy with more and more non humans. Hopefully the next wave (after the Episode 3 one) will see this continue. The build and vehicle itself is pretty sturdy and accurate as others have said, and generally, it's a good OT item to have.
