Awesome job there, and the time you've put in shows. I'm especially fond of the Rogues -
Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

I got the Visual Dictionary from Forbidden planet in London yesterday and am very happy with it! Lots of clear photos and some nice behind the scenes stuff! Interestingly, they keep the minifigures behind the till, which is nice. Oh and Electro suit Batman is awesome by the way! Anywho, for those who can't get hold of it yet. Here's the sketch models for Wonderwomans Jet and Banes drill. One of the designers also mentions The Flash as being a character that would work well in Lego, and I've heard DC has a high priority for a Flash movie, so my favourite scarlet speedster may yet be on the cards! There is also a nice couple of sections at the back of the book for the computer games. -
The Penguin's Movie and Cartoon Minifigures. )

Pshh, quiet you Awesome figures as usual and the detail is splendid!Still liking that skirt -
This is an awesome Batcave, I must say. The details are great and the care that has gone into this is obvious. My favourite thing about the whole cave though is the size and how you've managed to cram something so iconic onto such a small area. Huge thumbs up!

And of course, they had to have Magneto in there -
This is really great actually! The buildings are fantastic and the little details are what really make a MOC shine for me, so you score points all over! I'm also liking the new additions which help fill the gaps and make the scene look even busier, but not too much! Did Olivia build the mech in her workshop?

Thanks very much guys! I wasn't intending to do more than the initial one, but I thought I could do a few more and add to the summer of friends! I've edited my previous post and added another one, though when I do more, I should probably put the elsewhere. Not sure where though.

Bit late I guess, missed this one! Ahh well, my Superhero entry has had a run in with the evil Doctor Nutzoid!

Hah, thats pretty awesome. Looks like a lot of love went into making that and I really like the play features including Antman and Wasp customs. Like everyone else though, I'd like to see more of the Leviathan. So get onto it!

Though I have yet to get Jabbas palace, I'm still looking forward to the Rancor. It was one of my favourite scenes growing up and I feel they've done a good job with the mould. I'm quite happy they didn't go the brickbuilt route after seeing what they've been capable of with the Dino line. Anywho, that latest picture makes the Rancor look both sinister and cute!

Batman Minifig Customization Contest - Winners Announced!
Catanas replied to LuxorV's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Thanks guys, and its no problem! Like I said before is kind of fun, and there was such a nice array of heroes created by you all. :) You know, I was actually quite surprised by how many flyers there were in the hero category. Maybe that says something! And its actually quite different to come up with many different styles of flying. That said, good practice And about the villains, there is a possibility that something may crop up soon Oh and Himstone, thanks for the kind comments but I'm not really doing requests just now. Busy busy! -
Thanks for this outstanding review. I was on the shelf as to whether I should buy this set or bricklink Amidala, but I think I might just have to fork out when it goes on sale on Amazon or somesuch! Its a really nice set and I don't see why some folk are saying Amidala shouldn't be it, because besides the Naboo fighter, there's not much else she can go in. Unless they release a chrome Nubian starship Thanks again Kiel!

Wow, these are pretty great. Agree with the others about the background, and I love how recognisable they are! Awesome work!

I threw together a little something for my two favourite fellow heroes! -
Hi guys, I'm in the UK and I'm looking for these to complete my collection. Open is fine as long as they're complete. Gymnast Relay runner Archer I'd preferably like to trade and have the following in open packaging. Swimmer Judo fighter Weightlifter Throw a pm my way if you're interested! All done and traded! :)

Awesome news! Not really fussed on TDKR minifigures and I think I can pass on most of the Marvel ones. The DC figures however, shall be mine! Though still no Flash and that makes me grumble, but at this rate I'm sure we'll get one. And if it's a convention exclusive I will literally scream and hunt someone down! That said, fingers crossed

Catanas replied to LuxorV's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Congratulations people! All worthy winners! :) And thankyou very much for the special prize you guys! You really didnt have to but it made me feel better -
Absolutely brilliant! The Octopus is great and the scene, but to me, the cat is a work of art. I loves it! The colouring is amazingly well done and the weighting and posing is phenomenal. Thankyou for sharing it!

Speedcat zooms into The Gotham Museum just in time to disarm one of the Jokers Laughter bombs. ADDITIONAL IMAGES: - Larger image of Vignette Some of the design work. The decals themselves Project Inspiration. As soon as I saw this contest, I knew I was going to enter the hero category as my first real attempt at minifigure customization. I love fun and quirky heroes, especially the Flash. I was a bit unsure at first about doing a speedster but then I decided what the heck, why can't Gotham have a speedster? So off to work I went. Her looks came partly from a character I'd posted before in my reviews here, and partly from my DC Universe character, but with a totally revamped costume (Pinktastic!). Her backstory was another thing entirely. I wanted to try and have a way for a young British (Aye, British because well, there aren't enough Brits in Gotham!) speedster to get into Gotham and one of the comics I'd fallen in love with recently gave me a way in! Knight and Squire are kind of like a British version of Batman and Robin, and get involved in Batmans affairs from time to time. As with most comic book British heroes, magic takes a big role and there was my way in! After that I just had to figure out a way to move her to Gotham. Waynetech seemed like a great answer, and it allowed Batman to keep an eye on her...which he does! As this was my first proper attempt at customizing, I ended up going through a few torsos and legs experimenting with decals, but settled on Vinyl stickers in the end as I couldn't quite seem to get the gloss coat right. It doesn't look too bad however! :) Cost: - Mia Hair - £1.00 4x Black Torso - 4x 0.30 = £1.20 4x Black Legs - 4x 0.20 = 0.80 Surfer Girl Legs - 0.10 2x Dark Pink arm sets - 2x 0.60 = £1.20 Transfer Paper - £2.20 Vinyl Sticker Paper - £1.30 Final cost = £7.80 + the odd bit of decal fix and gloss coat. Hope you enjoy it! Cat (PS: My photography still isn't the best! )
