    Lego City 2012 Hospital ideas?

A very large hospital has been on my wish list for ever. I would like to see sets where alternative builds can serve as as modular like add ons, as you buy multiple of the one set. The first would have to include emergency, medical imaging, theatre. Followed by ward areas, intensive care, paediatrics, laboratory, outpatient Drs rooms, biomedical engineering and list could go on and on. It would be great to see a message of health promotion, eating healthy food in the cafeteria, walking the dog and wearing a bike helmet.

Thanks for all your comments, it seems the meat slicer, grinder and the fans with lights were the favourites. The delight of this hobby is in the details. Thanks again for your comments.

MOC: Rossville Vision Clinic and Artist's Apartment

Great work, did this project happen to start with the eye? I love how little ideas can bloom into a project. You could add a slit lamp, tonometer and and display of glasses. I love the shower curtain.

    Need help on modular buildings

I find humour livens up the street. You make a tree, a dog and a shocked minifig expression and you hey presto comedy gold. Street lamps, a telephone box, newspaper stands and signs. Also why are the people on the street? Buskers, shoppers, workmen and children. Above all take your time and put your personality into it.

    MOC: New Building in Town

Consider what minifig items you have, perhaps if you have many of one item. Then let your imagination go. Get inspiration from real lfe and reference pictures on the net. Another sugestion would be to incorporate the star on the window, the red bricks would make a great custom sticker location. Maybe Hollywood clothing store with mannaquins in the bay window.

    Updated 6402 Sidewalk Cafe

Glad to have given you some inspiration, pehaps you could look at getting the icecream piece or even the decorated tile with the icecream on it. Keep up the good work.

MOC : Cableway station, Piz Nair 3057m

This is huge Legolas73.Is it all in one piece? I too am facinated by the lovely curves and also the little details including the use of the technic hole brick for the stair railing and the great cable car.

well done Arcanine. I can see your style emerging. I am sure this will lead to many more creative builds.

    MOC - New Mannum Ford

Looking good as always LT, my suggestion would be to grease it up a bit, oil pool on the floor and on the mechanic uniforms. Look for the story or angle to give you inspiration. For example the shocked face in the customer as he looks at the bill and hands over the $100 dollar notes. Keep up the good work.

The lighting used in these photos has washed out the colour a little it is actually dark red. Thanks for your comments.

Gourmet foods modular building. Gino has grown up in this building, his migrant parents spent their whole lives here. Now that they have gone Gino has started to make the place his own, but he still has plenty of work to do. Somethings he just can not bring himself to change. I had great fun with this one. Comments welcome.

    MOC: Art Nouveau modular house

Great job on you Art Nouveau modular house, I can see how you have incorporated arches and decorative mouldings. I believe organic or plant like decoration is common in this style

Jamie is my hero, after watching the video and seeing these great pictures he has absolutely delivered on his aim to keep coming up with something new, while complementing the existing modulars. When you consider the influence and inspiration this modular series has had on the AFOL community he really is to be congratulated. Every time a new building comes out there are those that find faults, yet my experience is that when you get to actually build them I am genuinely excited and delighted at the innovative techniques and great design. I am really looking forward to this build I have a spot in my town ready to go.

The hero Perseus slew Medusa by looking at her harmless reflection in the mirror instead of directly at her, to prevent being turned into stone. When the hero severed Medusa's head from her neck, two offspring sprang forth, the winged horse Pegasus and the golden-sworded giant Chrysaor. I am certainly not the first to make Medusa head in Lego there are many others including from Bart Willen. I made my Medussa head by cutting up Lego snakes, looking for the curves to fill in the gaps around the witches head. I used the tip of the hot glue gun to fix the snakes together. For Pegasus a quick paint job on the wings from the griffin and I used the cheerleader legs for the gold sword wielding Chrysaor. Hope this was helpful, Thanks for your comments.

News Article: The Royal Wedding, LEGO Style

Stunning creation, great promotion for AFOL's. Perhaps they should consider replacing William's top with a red one.
