Excellent, thanks you both for sharing! -
The LDraw.org server is down. We have identified the issue and are waiting for a solution. Until then, all of the LDraw.org website will be offline.

[APP] BrickController2
Philo replied to imurvai's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It doesn't seem to solve my huge lag problem on my Android 8 Moto G5, but the process described is not utterly clear, so I may have goofed somewhere...- 1218 replies

I thought of that, but other parts in Studio library use standard LDraw color codes. Yellow forearm part is affected too, so it's not something special with renamed "nougat" colors.

I kind of prefer that you contact them yourself... Of course I'll be glad to answer questions if needed!

Sorry I'm dry on this... it _should_ work but doesn't. If only Studio team made a tiny bit of effort to improve LDraw compatibility, life would be easier... I tried various tricks to no avail. Problem is the same with arm with yellow forearm (16000p01). add one in yellow, should be the same on top and bottom but forearm looks almost fluorescent :( Actually the problem is the same for the legs, but it's much less visible on flat surfaces. I'll update here if I find something...

Actually I created a custom parts pack (with connectivity): get it here To use it, unzip it and place its contents in your C:\Users\{your username}\AppData\Local\Stud.io . Arm and Leg parts will then be available in Custom Parts palette of Studio. PF lights and "switch direction"
Philo replied to CoNSpiracy's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Removing is not enough, you have to do some soldering. This should achieve what you want: And this could be interesting too (one LED shining in one direction, the other in reverse polarity: -
PF lights and "switch direction"
Philo replied to CoNSpiracy's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The LEDS are powered from C1/C2 through a rectifier bridge located in the middle brick. This rectifier causes the LEDs shine regardless of polarity. Cutting c1/c2 woud result in lights not working at all. For more details, see https://philohome.com/pf/pflights.htm -

I improved the program to make sorting faster, thanks to acceleration/deceleration ramps. Also sorts white and light blue bricks! Video: -

Thanks! Check that the bricks slide freely along the chute. If a new brick is not perfectly in place when color sampling is done, a wrong color may be detected. -
