  1. 8245 - Robots Revenge [Technic/Competition - 1998] Download it here: 8245 - Robots Revenge - Main model Known errors: - Missing stickers -Technic figure torso has no pattern, figure has a plain left arm instead of a biomecanical one.
  2. 64699 is a wrong reference from Bricklink. This part does exist as 86501 - "Container Fold-Out Race Track Case 34 x 42" in official LDraw library. But nice brick-built solution Edit : Sorry, I misread thread title as LDraw instead of LDD!!! The comment about part name remains true nonetheless...
  3. I'll first complete 8257... Took more time than expected (got sidetracked!).
  4. Looks like LPUB doesn't like blank spaces in file names (at least in GHOST), I renamed all instances of Multi Sheave Boom Head Left Side.ldr to Multi_Sheave_Boom_Head_Left_Side.ldr and everything worked! More generally, blank spaces in LDraw file names is not such a good idea, some LDraw programs are fairly old and may choke on this...
  5. Looks like the link to 9393.l3b file is missing...
  6. Indeed. But it is possible to create non planar rubber bands like hoses or strings, using simple "pass through" constraints. To make a loop you simply need to have last constraint = first constraint (same position/orientation). Not so easy to properly follow round shapes this way though... There is a tutorial and various files (including an unofficial version of LSynth.mpd defining RUBBER_BAND_NO_PLANE and RUBBER_BAND_SQUARE_NO_PLANE) here. Sorry, it's in French, Google translate is your friend
  7. http://www.holly-wood.it/mlcad/easyrotation-en.html ? But... maybe you should rather try SR3Dbuilder?
  8. Going to have a shot at 8245...
  9. Very good news indeed! As for LDraw files, maybe it would be better if you published a list of the models you are missing, to make sure we don't duplicate work?
  10. Interesting. But my Windows LPub version doesn't show L3P option... Sorry, See now that it's your work! Depends on what you intend to do... For building instructions, readability is of paramount importance, and LDView images are (imho!) MUCH more understandable than POV ones. About POV/LDView comparison, see http://news.lugnet.c....../ray/?n=2822 ... This question is not new!!! I think it was dropped with WYSIWIG version 4 (version 3 never really existed)
  11. For our enlightenment, what was the problem that prevented import?
  12. In addition to "simple" import issues, I see two other potential problems; your track uses "main color" color 16 which doesn't map to a LEGO color. You should rather use black... The other issue is that if you look closely at your track, there is a slight overlaps between elements. LDD collision detection will probly choke on this...
  13. Looks like there is some hope for Nexus 7 (2012), but it's not simple... Some background: http://stackoverflow...h-android-4-4-2 and a possible solution https://play.google....nstaller2&hl=en
  14. Is there any chance that Sbrick works with "regular" Bluetooth? My tablet is the 1st version of Nexus7 that doesn't seem to support BLE...???
  15. 3931 - Emma's Splash Pool - Friends Errors: none MPD-Download here. The first Friends set here... Several other Friends figures are now available for LDraw! (parts mostly still unofficial)
  16. Yes, all battery boxes (PF and 9V) have a current limitation of 750mA (which, if you are a bit lucky, or for short time, can go to up to 1A). A problem with AAA cells compared to AA is their higher internal resstance, so at high current voltage on the motors will be lower. see more details here. Do not confuse battery capacity (expressed in mAh) and available current (expressed in mA)! A 850mAh battery will be able to provide 850mA during 1 hour, or 1.7A during half an hour (more or less: battery capacity is lower at high current!)
  17. A little correction... they must go to parts/s folder!
  18. An awesome project for sure, pledged for 2 ;) Probably, yes. Though it probably needs some tuning to reduce facet count... If/when you can share the definitive version of the 3D model, I'll be happy to make the LDraw conversion!
  19. I don't thnk it's possible to do that with NXT US-sensor: response time is too high (12ms) and resolution too low (1cm) to allow this. Have you tried Gus code available at Hitechnic? It works pretty well!
  20. You can also get LEGO gyro from shop@home and Laurens' balancing robot can also use Hitechnic gyro.
  21. You can still retrieve the old BIs that list the 15457 worm screw (follow the links on Brickset) but the LEGO site only lists the BIs with old part.
  22. Interesting, indeed I checked the BIs from 42023, if they did redesign the model (and reprinted BIs!) there must be a major issue with this part!
  23. What makes you think it is discontinued?
  24. Well... I just edited the file with a text editor and modified the transformation matrix. <Brick refID="0" designID="6260" itemNos="626001"> <Part refID="0" designID="6260" materials="1"> <Bone refID="0" transformation="1,0,0,0,1,0,0,0,1,-2.7999999523162842,0.24989999830722809,-1.2000000476837158"> </Bone> </Part> </Brick> is changed to <Brick refID="0" designID="6260" itemNos="626001"> <Part refID="0" designID="6260" materials="1"> <Bone refID="0" transformation="1,0,0,.5,1,0,0,0,1,-2.7999999523162842,0.24989999830722809,-1.2000000476837158"> </Bone> </Part> </Brick> There is a tutorial about this kind of transformation here. Sorry, it's in French...
