Avalonia Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
Kerntechniker replied to Derfel Cadarn's topic in Guilds of Historica
Dear Penkid11, once again thank you for your invitation. I like your idea of a Greater and Lesser Burrium. As everyone can see my MoC, in the historic topic, is based on the idea of a coastal city. I have tried to find out on a map where Burrium has been placed, but I am not sure which map is the newest one, my memory tells me that Burrium has been placed on the south-western coast of Avalonia. In the GoH wiki Burrium is still a coastal town and if no one has objections I would like to make an entry about now called Greater Burrium. Penkid11 if Lesser Burrium ever need support or military assistence just send me a dragon and the multi-cultural forces of Greater Burrium will support you. -
Avalonia Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
Kerntechniker replied to Derfel Cadarn's topic in Guilds of Historica
Dear all, after the very polite invitation from Pinkid11 here: http://www.eurobrick...pic=73644&st=50 I would like to ask you to re-sign for a place in the proud and famous guild of Avalonia. As I have seen at the front page of this topic my name stands still there. After a long phase with a lot of real life issues I am now able to attend again the challenges waiting of the guild. I have tried to update myself and no challenge is ongoing right now. Is this correct? If I am welcome, I would like to start getting back my capital and land and stand in line with the brothers and sisters of the avaloinian guild. Regards -

LOTR & The Hobbit 2013 Set Discussion
Kerntechniker replied to CM4Sci's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Dear all, in the german 1000steine.de LEGO forum is a posting saying that in mid December 2013 the new wave of LOTR Hobbit sets will be released. The sets should be the following one: 79011 Dol Guldur Ambush £ 19.99 79012 Mirkwood Elf Army £ 29.99 79013 Town Lake Chase £ 49.99 79014 Dol Guldur Battle £ 69.99 The posting says that the source is a british toy expert, due to this the prices are in british pounds. Set 79013 has already been published inlc. a picture. For me this news seems realistic. Regards- 7500 replies

@runmymouth Thank for your compliments, it is a mixture of bricklinking and buying castle sets etc. So it takes time to continue, sometimes. But I am not in a hurry :-). I really would apreciate to see your creation, once started.

Dear all, thank you for your valuable and polite comments. I just finished the round tower and started to fill the gap in the front. And here ist the clos up from the corner river :-) As always C&C is welcome

Hi, the MoC ist nice, but what I am wondering is that the army of LEGO Reich is still armed with very old weapons. I mean musket rifles are not a common weapon in the early 19th century. The german forces are equipped with needle rifles since 1866 (battle of Königgrätz) or earlier. 1915 even the MG 08/15 has been introduced to the german army and therefore I am wondering about the weaponary of the LEGO Reich and that they have been able to resist the invasion. Beside the weaponary issue I think your mocs shows very well the effect from time on infrastructure and even the nice green bike as a forgotten item from the forces is a very nice detail.

Thanks Error404, this kind of comment keeps me motivated.

Thank you for comment. I will provide detailed pictures from the round tower once it is finished. I hope it will get the way I want it, but let's see.

Hi Damaximus, thank you for your nice comments. I will inform here about displaying the moc (If I do). To answer your question, right now I have not planned any details about the city. Of course the inspiration has come by guilds of Historica, but due to some serious real life issues there was no time to participate in the last challanges. But your remark let me consider to return.

Hi Kabel, the size of the table fits for up to 6 x 12 Baseplates 32x32 so that's the maximum ;-). And I'll will try to reach it.^^ Maybe I will display it one day. It's build modular so this is possible. Thank you for your feedback.

Nice LDD creation, it looks very good and is very close to stuff we can see in this picture. It is a pitty that the "Europe" theme has never been realised. :(

Thank you. I have improved the walls a lot from the beginning. The landscape should cover my table one day, which means 1,6 x 3 metres. But until it is finished a lot to build I have.

Long time no see, but I have been busy reconstruct the gatehouse and the walls and some real life issues :). Here is the update from my work so far.

Hi Brickcetra, as far as I know it is a US only product. You can only import them or try to find someone in your country or region (e.g. EU) willing to sell them to you. Currently I am offering a few of them in buy and sell theme. BR -
