nerdsforprez Posted August 5, 2014 Hey Everyone, I see that the crawlers are a big hit on this site. Just wanted to share one that I built a while ago and made a recent new video for. Pretty good climbing skills. Aesthetically, not much there, but I tried to keep the overall weight down to enhance functionality. http://mocpages.com/moc.php/368692
Zerobricks Posted August 5, 2014 Now those are some massive wheels! You may look into whats slipping in there, but other than that good work! Do you have any additional images of the axles?
Doc_Brown Posted August 6, 2014 1.26kg is very respectable with those wheels! Great job.
Black-Build Posted August 6, 2014 good performance, but the bodywork can be improved I think.
nerdsforprez Posted August 6, 2014 good performance, but the bodywork can be improved I think. Yea... I totally agree with this.... but that is why I specified that I did not spend time on the aesthetics of the model. Would add too much to the weight. I tried, on purpose, to keep the weight down.... jantjeuh Posted August 6, 2014 Bodywork is fine for a crawler. What wheels are those?
AndyCW Posted August 6, 2014 That's a really good weight for such a large crawler. Performance looks good too. v/r Andy
Technyk32231 Posted August 7, 2014 (edited) Very nice crawler! I love those wheels, and your suspension seems to work very well. Edited August 7, 2014 by Technyk32231
