LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

Is the hood brick-built (like the 2007 SI) or like the 2011 one?

Lots of round sloped bricks.

This ship could be a new rebel lego set in the future?

(concept art of SW Rebels)

hrao1It.jpg

That's a repainted Pelta-class frigate from The Clone Wars. Given that it was featured pretty heavily there and we never saw it as a set, I'd be surprised if they made the Rebels version. It's possible, of course, but I'd guess unlikely unless one of them becomes a major plot point in Rebels. Then again, the Wookiee gunship was made, so who knows.

As long as it doesn't have as many gaps as 2007, I should be fine with it.

Zero percent worried about the direction of Star Wars Rebels after last night's season finale...

Knowing that the Gozanti-class cruiser was being made was actually kind of a spoiler for this episode, we just didn't know it yet. The potential figures in SWR sets also got quite a few changes, too.

What an awesome way to tie TCW to SWR, which deepens the links between OT and PT even better, too.

The Rebels series finale leaves us in an odd place as to future sets.

  • The Inquisitor is either dead or severely maimed, to the point where any return will be a cyborg one. In any case, it seems highly unlikely we will actually see him appear in another set, now that he's out of the picture.
  • Adult Ahsoka will be out by Winter 2015 or Summer 2016. Far too important a character now to leave her unproduced in her Rebels form.
  • Rebels seems to be the most likely outlet for a Lando figure still, given his season 1 appearance and likely return as a guest star in season 2.
  • Rebels continues to feature Bail Organa, and thus his likelihood of getting a figure at LONG LAST increases. Let us hope.
  • Any Vader in the next few years can only be a Rebels Vader (after the ROTJ one is released, of course). The key question - will his helmet coloring/printing be different? Stands to reason, since the Stormie helmets are...

I hope this is the right thread to post this. I saw the sneak peeks of Star Wars Rebels Recon and at the end they showed a sneak-peek for the next season, which will feature this starfighter, http://www.sci-fi-o-...rrie_A_Wing.jpg in blue and green. Yep thats the Mcquarrie style A-wing, and it will have the same design in the cartoon. I have high expectations to see it in the next rebels wave.

Yes, this video - among others - was posted to FBTB.net last month here and here.

But it may have been easy to miss as I think it was only mentioned once in this thread.

BTW- The video is where I was able to understand most of the details in order to create an approximation in LDD:

First I have seen this video. Must be behind the times. Looks to be a really cool set. I like how they mirrored the design and some of the functions from the UCS shuttle. I am looking forward to the release. I caught the name of the guy doing the demonstration it was Erik Varszegi.

A user called Sir von Lego has given information about the upcoming Sith Infiltrator, that the minifigs included would be young Anakin, Qui-Gon, an astromech droid (likely R2), Watto, and Darth Maul. Also, the other constraction figures may be Obi-Wan, General Grievous, Boba Fett, and a Stormtrooper. Very exciting stuff. I think those are the main points at least...

Thanks a lot mate!

Sorry for bothering anybody, but can somebody PM me the pictures of the new Sith Infiltrator? I didn't get a chance to pick up any of the last three, so hopefully I can get this one up if it's not too expensive...

Another thing to look forward to is Ahsoka's head being used as a movie-style replacement for her TCW figures' heads, provided they keep the same skin color for Adult Ahsoka... I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that. For Vader, I think all they'd do is color the lenses on his helmet dark red or something; no big deal, as that'd also make him more authentic to ANH-Vader as well

Just rumors for now. A new Hoth Rebel Soldier in the advent calendar this year also hints to a Hoth set in a way, but nothing is confirmed yet.

My theory is, if the rumours are true, and there will be an UCS AT-AT soon. Then it can quite possibly come with some new mini figures thus the new Han Solo head and the new Rebel Soldier in the 2015 advent calendar.

Oh man, I was *just* about to buy the Inquisitor's TIE. Well, I just saved $60, since:

  • The Inquisitor is gone, meaning that his personal TIE and his minifig are now irrelevant.

Which reminds me of 2 things:

1).....Where did LEGO pull the Shadow Troops from? I was expecting to see them in the latest episode, since they were on Mustafar, but they made no appearance.

2) I really, really, really, REALLY want Sabine's TIE. It looks absolutely.....beautiful. :cry_happy: LEGO, release that set please.

3)

Maybe LEGO will FINALLY release some more rebel fleet ships. I still want a Nebulon cruiser, and since the Rebel Alliance is appearing in the show now.....

4) I just want to say, Rebels is great. I can't wait to see what the show has to offer, and what sets may come from it.

Hey so I was searching through some old stuff and I found the Technic set 8007 (the Black and Gold C3PO) and I was wondering if its really worth anything. I have the box, the instructions, an old catalog the sticker sheet, all pieces! If anyone knows its rarity or would like to purchase it let me know!

Im rather curious, how come that spoiler makes irrelevant you getting the set? I mean, if you liked the set before, why would that stop you? I dont mean to question your own perogative, but im genuinely interested in how or why. I mean,

what with Darth Vader being dead at the end of ep 6, does that not make irrelevant any set he comes in to you?

?

With that logic

getting/having the Slave I, Jabba's Palace, Rancor Pit and Star Destroyer sets is also irrelevant since Boba Fett, Jabba and his goons, the Rancor and Darth Vader and his posse are dead.

Something totally different: I hope we don't get a set of

Sabine's TIE. That thing looked ridiculous. Also, having her spraypaint stuff is a major weakness of this (otherwise great) show

I was just about to add the same thing...

Almost every Rebel Pilot, Obi Wan, Yoda, Fett Vader... the list goes on... their amount of screen time isn't important... besides the TIE Advanced looks like a nice set.

Really? Just because you don't like it you HOPE no one of those who DO like it never get a chance to buy it? That's pretty mean!

I actually hope that LEGO will take a shot at that TIE, because with those black and white checkerboard-patterns, it reminded me a bit of some P51 Mustang fighterplanes from WW2. Also, Sabine spraypainting stuff is not ridiculous, it's actually pretty cool and has been done by fighter pilots in real history, so why not? Imperial grey is an irresistable invitation for colourful vandalism.

Yup.

For the same reason I don't hope a UCS AT-AT is being released......as I would rather see a large EchoBase set. There are (enter a number) SW Lego sets released every year......I always hope the ones I want are released first......just like everyone else.

That's pretty mean!

I'm a sith lord. That explains.
