Eurobricks & LEGO® Turtle Competition- OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. MANY WILL ENTER; FEW WILL WIN A PRIZE.

Overview

To celebrate the coming release of the LEGO® Ideas Exo Suit by Peter Reid, The LEGO Group is teaming up with Eurobricks and we’re going turtle crazy! We invite you to build the coolest tiny turtle you can and submit it to our Turtle Competition! You can win a signed copy of the Exo Suit, a very cool Exo Suit t-shirt or maybe your turtle will be on an exclusive turtle poster that will be given only to those whose turtles are included or who attend the fan event at Skærbæk in September.

The competition will begin July 15, 2014 and ends September 1, 2014.

How to enter

To enter, you have to create a turtle using non-licensed LEGO® bricks. You submit photos of your turtle, which must fit on an 8x8 stud plate to the Eurobricks forum where the competition is held.

You must be a member of Eurobricks to enter – see how you can sign up for free at www.eurobricks.com.

Entries cannot be revised or altered once submitted.

How to win

Every person can submit more entries to the challenge, but only one (1) entry per person will be considered when the final winners are selected. The winners (first, second and third place) and runners-up will be selected initially in a voting round by member of Eurobricks, with the final winners being chosen by a jury consisting of Peter Reid, creator of the Exo Suit, Mark Stafford, LEGO Designer responsible for the final model and Karen Frost Sørensen, LEGO Ideas Project Manager.

The winning entries will be judged by the jury upon:

• Overall coolness and creativity

• Inspired originality

• Uniqueness

We want you to make your turtle as amazing as possible. However, you need to consider the following when creating your turtle:

The judging will begin August 25, 2014 and ends September 1, 2014. The odds of winning will depend on the skill and talent of the entrant, and on the number of eligible contest entries received during each contest period.
