Hi,

I want to make my first order with the LEGO Store - Pick a Brick.

I want to gather the same bricks that some basic sets have, but I cannot found all the bricks/elements I need. In particular, I would like to reproduce the following sets:

Town

http://brickset.com/sets/376-2/House-with-Garden

http://brickset.com/sets/1592-1/Town-Square-Castle-Scene

Space

http://brickset.com/sets/483-1/Alpha-1-Rocket-Base

http://brickset.com/sets/493-1/Command-Center

http://brickset.com/sets/6970-1/Beta-I-Command-Base

How can I get the list of bricks/elements contained in each one? Are these bricks/elements available in the Pick a Brick Store?

Thanks in advance. Regards

Well, Many bricks and pieces has been modified compared to what Lego had back then in 70s-80s.

Some of them are not even available in Lego.

Try Bricklink as I believe u will be able tp source out these unique parts.

What about buying them as complete sets from Bricklink (or alternatively Ebay if you find a good deal)? It may work out cheaper than piecing them together (for CS sets at least) as certain parts are very hard to come by even on Bricklink and consequently their price is ridiculously high.

That usually depends. For small sets, sometimes it's cheaper to get complete set than individual parts as they were often more common than large sets. For large set, especially without instruction and box, it can be cheaper to buy parts.

Don't buy from eBay, the seller there usually overcharges everything relative to Bricklink because eBay charges much higher fee than BL for selling.
