grum64 Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Can't wait to see this when it's completed! Quote
piterx Posted August 20, 2014 Author Posted August 20, 2014 It's good to hear that it's not dead, and it looks like it's coming along great! My only question is, will the battery stick out like this from the hood? unfortunately yes :\ no way i can cover that without compromising the overall shape.... it's the price of having it so overpowered lol i could place it in the cockpit if i renounce to have one of the two seats but then the weight distribution won't be the same as it is now if only the battery pack was red XD Quote
Mark275 Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 if only the battery pack was red XD You could use the red battery box cover from the Red Cargo Train Quote
gsia17 Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Simple as that, but it looks like! Do it faster! Quote
piterx Posted August 21, 2014 Author Posted August 21, 2014 thank you guys :) so i managed to move the battery box half stud backwards wich allowed me to hide it completely ^^ now im not sure if i wanna keep the rally frontlights or not.... what do you thing guys? Quote
zweihander Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Congrats, the hood looks good now :) My opinion about the headlights is, remove them if you are going to do it in plain color, but keep them if you want to try the iconic alitalia racing livery. Quote

rm8 Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Keep the lights. Cause without them it will be "ferrari";) Quote
EvilEnderman Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 The lights look great on it, i think you should keep them! Quote

Rishab N Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Awesome. Can't wait to see the final version. You really captured the looks of the original Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 How about replacing the one big door panel with two smaller ones. Quote
piterx Posted August 24, 2014 Author Posted August 24, 2014 How about replacing the one big door panel with two smaller ones. yeah i might do something like that! that panel is too ugly lol Quote
Doc_Brown Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 vroooom vroooooom. hehe Looking super! I actually don't mind the door panel. Quote
robuko Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Looking fantastic! I preferred your earlier windscreen bottom edge, which really captured the curved look Quote
piterx Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 Looking fantastic! I preferred your earlier windscreen bottom edge, which really captured the curved look you're totally right about the curved look! i reintroduced it :P but the whole windscreen should be a little bit narrower....maybe 1 stud only after this i just need to add seats and it's done :) hope you like it! Quote
Doc_Brown Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Looking so sweet! I still don't mind the doors at all, anything else would add a lot of weight. When will the video be available? :P Quote
robuko Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) Oh yes, the windscreen looks great now! I can't really tell from the photo angle, does the wing line still look good where it meets the windscreen? I feel a touch of Ferrari 308 or even 246 in the last shot. This is a really wonderful model of an extremely difficult subject. Love it Edited August 28, 2014 by robuko Quote
piterx Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 actually i still need to modify that, it needs to be narrower and longer the ferrari's look is always behind the corner lol btw in this picture it could be a ferrari as well :D Quote
piterx Posted August 28, 2014 Author Posted August 28, 2014 done it! i reduced of one stud the windscreen top attachment and now it looks fine now it just needs seats and some decent pictures :) Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I thought you were going to change the doors? Quote
