Schfio factory Posted June 3, 2014 Maracanã Stadium It's my New Creation special for an exhibition about the World Cup 2014. It 's the Maracanã Stadium, a football stadium in Brazil. The stadium will also host the final of the 2014 World Cup. It took me 6 weeks to complete. Its diameter is over 1.8m ! It is the biggest sculptural building I have ever made. The setup time took me about 4 hours as it is very complicated ! Special thanks to my friends during the setup !
eurotrash Posted June 3, 2014 Excellent! That's a massive build, but what's the seating capacity?
Schfio factory Posted June 3, 2014 It's roughly estimated to be about 1500x.
rodiziorobs Posted June 3, 2014 (edited) Very impressive, not just in size but also accuracy. A little disappointed the pitch doesn't have the old Lego Sports baseplates though (not really) Edited June 3, 2014 by rodiziorobs
emilstorm Posted June 3, 2014 That is pretty big. I don't believe I have ever seen that many figs in one place before. Good work, it looks great!
Gottsfritz Posted June 3, 2014 The size is impressive, and it should have taken hours and tons of work to complete, but I don't like it. I'm brazilian and the build does not remind me nothing about the stadium.
b-ran Posted June 3, 2014 Great work on the stadium, and thank you for sharing it with us!
Kivi Posted June 3, 2014 An amazing creation and very accurate scaling down of the original, although it necessitated for the pitch to be of very diminished size compared to the minifigs. But with the capacity crowd all around the pitch this is barely noticeable. Very well done.
TheLazyChicken Posted June 4, 2014 Wow, that is HUGE! Keep up the good work!
Tuinman Posted June 6, 2014 Impressive is all I can say. Great job, looks like the real Maracanã!
