Jody Meyer Posted May 25, 2014 Well I am just puzzled, I have gotten minifigures before, but to get one without a head?!?!? I got a headless Maggi, Any ideas how I should handle it, call it in or just go get another one?...

SithMageHenry Posted May 25, 2014 They don't do replacement parts with CMFs so just buy another I guess, it would be the easiest and quickest option. I've bought literally hundreds of CMFs and I've never had a missing part, so that is a rare problem.
jamesster Posted May 25, 2014 I once got a Series 5 Royal Guard who was missing his gun. It's not unheard of, though still quite rare.
greenalfonzo Posted May 25, 2014 I have had a few 'missing' pieces before, but when I carefully retraced my steps, I found that the piece fell out on the floor, or I didn't notice it was still stuck in the package. I'm *not* saying this is what happened to you, but you might want to look over where you opened it, and dig the bag out of the garbage or whatever. I have found that this is more common when I've been opening a few packages at one time.
jodawill Posted May 25, 2014 I've bought hundreds of sets and minifigures throughout the years and I've never encountered a missing piece.
TNT apples Posted May 25, 2014 I think if you go to customer services, they just send you a whole new CMF packet as compensation, they can't replace specific parts.

LEGO wants customers to be satisfied is my experience! just ask customer service Jody, they will help you out, I'm sure!
WhiteFang Posted May 26, 2014 The LEGO Customer Service is unable to replace specific parts from the missing packets in your LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series as the parts assortment on their end, is not possible to gain access to parts under blind packaging. If you have encountered missing parts, I will urge you to write an email to describe your problem. Let the customer service representative get back to you with a solution or alternative. Also, best to prepare yourself to provide details of the source/origin of the packaging or lot where you obtain. It will help in your case if you have access or remembered such details. I had a few encounters of missing parts such as S1 Spaceman's leg, a few S3 Elves's missing bows and S3 Samurai's katana. These are the few which I can remember off-hand. It's rare and it is pretty remote.
TheLegoDr Posted May 26, 2014 I haven't had any missing parts with the CMF, but I have had broken pieces in the bag. It is true they will NOT send any replacement parts to you. I emailed with someone a few times, and they basically just told me they are sorry and tough luck. They didn't offer to send me anything to replace them, like others have said. So your mileage may vary. But as "great" as their customer service is, they've told me tough luck quite a bit from what I can remember.

So I did tell customer service, they didn't seem to surprised, I thought was kind of odd...anyways I already knew they could not help, I went out got another on so Maggie and Mr. Burns both have a little bear...
