And i for one am very much looking forward to seeing your challenge II entry! I sit in awe before the awesomeness of your ship-building (and building in general). I do have one tiny, tiny nitpick: the flags. If the ship is sailing, the wind is from the back, so the flags should be fluttering forwards. If the oarslaves are rowing, it's because there's no wind (or very little wind), so the flags should be drooping lifelessly (which I don't have a clue how to accomplish with the plastic LEGO flags). Other than that, there's nothing to improve - this is excellent. Oh dear... wowzers, that is a landlubbers mistake! Thanks for picking that up nstickney, i'll have to fix that up (and the wind waves too, i guess) before i take it to the Queenscliffe Brick Show. Cheers mate! Yeah those viking hull parts are really useful despite their size, i really like them. I look forward to seeing what use you put them to! Would be great for a tutorial those sails!! Sails are pretty easy peasy, they are just acrylic primed cotton duck canvas - you can buy them primed or do it yourself, and then just cut to size. The major selling point to me (and I apologize that it is not related to the ship) is the incredible water detail. The shades of blue work perfect and the waves are some of the best I've seen.
