I love the base. Very very slick and attractive. It's the best part of the set.

The top third of the tower just isn't right.... we need to find a way to make it less rectangular, introduce a hint of a gentle curve.

OK guys, here is another wip pic for you. Note that I tried to have a little movement with the camera to make it look as a pic taken from a moving helicopter but the result was not as I envisionned it :-D And I was too lazy to retake it so its a definite one :-P

i have some technical questions...Yoda, could you give us box size and weight... thx in advance *sweet*

I will give you the boxes dimension no probs, as for the weight, it was really heavy but didn't weight it. I'll try to weight the finished tower for you - thats the best I can do regarding that issue ;-)

Actually I have nearly finished the second part of the Tower, and when you see it, its less blocky than it seems and really is a neat piece of construction ;-) So I imagine that the third part (i.e. the top part) will have the same look. More on that later ;-)

The Eiffel Tower is a great source for these bricks in new gray, 64 of them.... Beatles on! :-)

Okay, it's nice that we can get that piece in a color that doesn't make me sick and can be used in modern MOCs, unlike that ancient old grey :-X

(:-P you have to remember I do space MOCs too, but you still love me, right? :'-( :-P )

It's true, bley is much more appealing to me than old grey. Old grey almost seems green in color...I can't explain it.
