An Unexpected Accident (built by my little brother)

Recommended Posts

Built by my 12 year old brother.

Kendrick and Basil were walking by a river, Basil was jumping around on the banks as he always does, while Kendrick enjoyed the lovely scenery. Then Basil slipped off the bank and fell into the river...

My brother would appreciate any C&C.

The next installment in the Kendrick Chronicles will be up soon :classic:

Thanks Gunman :classic:

How old is the kid? Cause this is great!

EDIT: Wow, 12? Very nice indeed. :)

Thank you :classic:

I wonder how good his trees will be when he'll be our age!

You should see his next build, the tree is even better

Yes, do compliment him on his building skills! Great little scene

Thanks!

very nicely done. can't see basil though, what is he? a dog? lol

A goat, look in the river

The trees are excellent, as is the choice of a non-gray for the streams banks.

Thanks mrcp6d, he likes tan/dark tan and uses them whenever possible :classic:

I can't even build like that now, let alone when I was 12. Very nice!

Aw, now look at what trouble Basil has gone and gotten himself into this time. Nice natural looking trees and rockwork, it's all looking very good per usual.

Awesome trees and water! My only criticism would be the merging of the cliff banks with the ground. Seems a bit to abrupt in places. However the color and sculpting of the cliff look great.

Thanks Mike, and thanks for the helpful criticism, he'll work on that in future builds :classic:

This is a great MOC overall, but there is one thing your brother missed: there are some areas at the bottom of the cliff below water level that are left dry. That is the only thing I can critique, because his cliffs and trees are very well done!

Thank you, and good spot there! He didn't notice those 'dry' spots till after he'd pretty much finished the build :classic:

In beginning to wonder if this 12 yo brother is real ;)

Why wouldn't he be?

He did an amazing job! Tell him to keep up the great work!

Thanks, I will :classic:
