Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 19, 2014 A few more, if you have any feedback at all, any comment, or any question, I'd greatly welcome it! Thor and the Destroyer Armour (this gives you an idea on size) Cassandra Nova With her hat on. Starfox Wasp Titania (took a few liberties but I'm still happy with the overall outcome) Enjoy! rosalind14 Posted April 20, 2014 I'm stealing your idea for Cassandra Nova! It's great! Good choice on the different Wasp costume too.
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 20, 2014 (edited) I'm glad you like them! Once I had an appropriate old looking flesh head she was the first I'd wanted to make, I really enjoyed most of Morrison's run. I think she turned out well, one of my favourites. I have more to share with you all! Desak the Godslayer Tiger Shark I know, I know. He was never that mutated but, somehow a vampire with a Mohawk didn't cut it for me. I found this piece and, though inaccurate, is still pretty hilarious and more importantly does the job. Morgan Le Fay Enjoy! Edited April 20, 2014 by Dr Leg O Brick
MattZitron Posted April 21, 2014 Cassandra Nova is perfect.
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 21, 2014 (edited) Thanks!! A few more to share: The Fixer Arabian Knight Scarlet Spider (still trimming the sticker, from the Spider Trike set) Goliath My first, of many, attempts at this sort of mask, hence the inaccuracy. Enjoy! Edited April 21, 2014 by Dr Leg O Brick
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 21, 2014 Gilgamesh Bor Black costumed Spider-Man Enjoy!
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 22, 2014 Fandral Hogun Movie Volstagg The Warriors Three Sif With her double bladed sword (I'm working on that) and her shield. My Asgardians and extended family. If you have any feedback it would be appreciated. Enjoy!
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 23, 2014 (edited) Giant Man D-Man (circa 1998) Upgraded Sebastian Shaw My 300th custom, Stan Lee Enjoy! Any ideas on how I can improve them? Up next, Bruce Banner, Deathlok, Ares and a few improvements. Edited April 23, 2014 by Dr Leg O Brick
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 24, 2014 (edited) TESS-One (Total Elimination of Super Soldiers). Deathlok Upgraded Ultron The Grim Reaper Upgraded Black Panther (credit to rosalind14 for the idea, I'll be doing a "yellow eyes" cowl soon as well). Any feedback? Enjoy! Edited May 16, 2014 by Dr Leg O Brick
rosalind14 Posted April 24, 2014 I really like TESS-One but I think it looks more like Ultron especially with that "mouth". Damn....I need that cape for my Black Panther!
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 24, 2014 True...It's been the helmet I've used for Ultron since I started in 2012. However, after reading heavy metal V the Avengers again, I couldn't shake the feeling it suited him. Scenes like these: http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix6/tessone_03.jpg convinced me. Maybe remake him white and give him a classic space helmet perhaps? It's a good cape isn't it? I'm trying to get one in red for Dr Strange.
Rinzler Posted April 25, 2014 Where did you get Titania's hair, I need one as a stand in for my Mistique's hair, that is the closest one to red I've seen. I also have no idea if there is a red version
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 25, 2014 I got it in an eBay lot but, it appears, you can get it from three sets, 9473 Mines of Moria, 75021 Republic Gunship, and by far the best option, 60011 Surfer Rescue, a £5 city set. Here's the link to the hair on Bricklink: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=88283&in=S I 100% agree with you regarding the hair, hence why I picked it for Titania. No red version exists but this: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=4530&in=S is available in two shades of red, bright and dark. Some new figures will be up momentarily. Rinzler Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) Thanks, when I finish Mystique, I will be up to 5 Brotherhood members, against 11 X-Men (THEY'RE SCREWED) Edited April 25, 2014 by Rinzler
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) Hahaha! Sounds like my Masters of Evil, 27 villians V 52 Avengers! So much for the villains outnumbering the heroes. Who makes up your X-Men and Brotherhood? Some new figures, Bruce Banner (the hair will be fixed soon) Justice Upgraded Nefaria Jean Gray Enjoy! Rinzler Posted April 26, 2014 Hahaha! Sounds like my Masters of Evil, 27 villians V 52 Avengers! So much for the villains outnumbering the heroes. Who makes up your X-Men and Brotherhood? X-Men Wolverine Cyclops Storm Nightcrawler Phoenix Gambit Havok Professor X Angel Beast Jubilee Brotherhood Magneto Pyro Sabretooth Toad Mystique I also have Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch but I count them as Avengers
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 26, 2014 Great line ups! Pyro, Jubilee, and Toad I haven't seen many Lego versions of, great ideas. May I ask, what version did you go for Beast? In the end, I split my X-Men much like my Avengers originally, three teams. I'll add pictures in a minute if you like.
Rinzler Posted April 27, 2014 I based him off the X-Men: First Class movie, I will find the decals I used and post them here if you want to use them
Dr Leg O Brick Posted April 27, 2014 Thanks, that'd be great! I've got my classic Beast but to have an alternative would be great. Some new, plus my X-Men. The Controller Ultron 59 (from earth 9511, AKA the last Avengers story set in the future. In this future Ultron, believing humans might actually be superior after all his defeats, decides to evolve himself to be as human as possible, for humans have no trouble killing each other.) Main X-Men team (Storm and Cyclops from the new X-Jet to be added once it's released) X-Factor X-Force (the guy between Bishop and Rogue is supposed to be my take on X-Man, yet to be posted) Enjoy! Rinzler Posted April 29, 2014 Electro was in X-Factor? Didn't know he could sing (Sorry, worst joke ever) Anyway, here are the Beast decals, do the best you can with them
Dr Leg O Brick Posted May 2, 2014 (edited) Haha, I decided to use him as Iceman back in January! I'm an old fart I guess, but to me Electro isn't Electro if he doesn't have green tights, yellow gloves and boots and a starfish hat. Thanks for the Beast decals. It might be a while before I get to use them (I still have 25 ish figures left to post not to mention stuff I'm working on). But they will be useful, I wanted a "modern" Beast for X Factor after Havok's left that team of mine and joined a new Avengers team I've formed. The face reminds me of him in the SWORD mini series with Gyrich, Brand, and Death's head. Ho, fellow readers (I hope!). Other activities have occupied my attention this week, however, I'm back with more figures (I bet you thought I'd run out by now)! Death's Head (SWORD Appearance, I've got a silver skull lined up but I need to get it first) Iron Man 2020 (boot's to be added soon) Upgraded Beta Ray Thor (the shoulder pads are more accurate and boost his cape up much like many versions of him) Enjoy! P.S I have one more I'll add but I need to quickly change it before uploading. Edited May 2, 2014 by Dr Leg O Brick
Rinzler Posted May 3, 2014 (edited) Haha, I decided to use him as Iceman back in January! I'm an old fart I guess, but to me Electro isn't Electro if he doesn't have green tights, yellow gloves and boots and a starfish hat. I think most people will agree with you there, although I am a fan of ultimate Iceman Electro, the preliminary version would have looked a hell of a lot better if they had finished the design for it I also think that the Spider-Trike might be the only set in brick history where the preliminary was better than the actual model Edited May 3, 2014 by Rinzler
Dr Leg O Brick Posted May 3, 2014 (edited) 100% agreed. I was bitterly disappointed as I have a Sinister Five now (though Sandman will be made shortly), still, I'm glad they made the classic Ock. Haha, the trike isn't that bad IMO, it's not great but it's greatly improved with a couple of Hellfire club guards hanging of it, pursuing X-Men! I like the design, impractical yes due to the hight, but still OK. A few more: Rick Jones (hailing from 80 years in the future (in 1992/1993 or what ever it is this week on Marvel's rotating time scale) on Earth-9200, AKA Future Imperfect.) Goliath (Eric Josten), AKA Atlas later on. Elektra Improved Vision (still fixing the sticker) Stone Knight (not accurate, I just thought I'd make him with some spares) Enjoy! Edited May 3, 2014 by Dr Leg O Brick
Dr Leg O Brick Posted May 5, 2014 A bit of a botched lot, the original three I was to post where completely inaccurate, so they'll be up later today perhaps. Anyway, the latest in my Marvel universe of minifigures! John Lennon (Skrull) Old Man Logan Count Nefaria Enjoy!
Rinzler Posted May 5, 2014 Nice, I actually have a friend who looks like a John Lennon doppleganger, he even has the same initials. Anyway niice work on the figs as always. I look forward to stealing uh.... borrowing the designs
