Gerry Anderson custom figures

Recommended Posts

Although I've read every image resizing topic I could find, I have absolutely no idea if this will work, it's kind of a test as I've got a lot of other customs to add to EB. Also the photos are a bit dodgy, I'm used to taking photos of 4.5 inch or 7 inch figures. With the disclaimer over, as you might know I'm a fan of Gerry Anderson's work. These are far from perfect, most will be decaled/painted at a later date. First, Spectrum agents, more to follow:

Captain Scarlet

If those above don't work, go to my Flickr page, I've posted a few others there as well:

I think in essence you made nice minifigs, but your pictures areso dark! May I advice to retake the pictures in sunlight? When you photograph them outside in the daytime you get the best results :-)

Thank you for the advice! I normally take the pictures by getting two/three plain sheets of paper, propping them up, and then holding a Lego torch over them. Would you believe I took all these in the so called British sunlight, or lack of it, at midday inside. At the moment, moving the whole operation outside would be problematic. I'll try some alternative methods. Any advise on what to make next? I've got a jetpack Scarlet, the World President, spacesuit Lt Green, and White As Snow "I'm a deep sea fisherman" Colonel White for Captain Scarlet and Lady Penelope, Parker, Tin-Tin, and Jeff from Thunderbirds being made. Maybe branch out further into perhaps other Gerry Anderson productions? And finally, on an unrelated note, I'm making a mini fig scale SPV, it'll be maybe a month or so before it's finished, but keep a look out...
