News The LEGO Movie: 70810 MetalBeard's Sea Cow

Recommended Posts

Has anyone placed an order for this, had it shipped, not received a tracking number, but it still says 'in process' when you check your order status. Something is seriously wrong with the new system they implemented.

Mine just arrived, although on the LEGO website is is announced as 'in progress'...

Happy camper over here, what a nice set it is!!!

Me too still in progress but arrived today. Just eating lunch then off to play/build/enjoy (it's my half work day today so Lego timed delivery just right)

I'm going to try to post photo's of the 'build in progress' on my Google + page

https://plus.google....111047271283601

First shots show the contents of the box (for the previous poster who asked how many packets inside)

Edit - have just finished 4, getting tired no so that may be alI today.

Bag 1 - builds the minifigures

Bags 2 (x2) - micromanagers, sofa

Bags 3 (x2) - base of ship

Bag 4 - lower ship side deails

Just wondering, is anyone here on Eurobricks working on a review? I've been disappointed that no one has reviewed this set yet (not even in a video review, which I would generally avoid otherwise). On the plus side, my family might be getting this this weekend, so if there are no reviews by then I suppose I'll be less "spoiled"!

Your Creative Friends have a video review up, but I doubt it's worth watching.

Update, Jangbricks now has a really good look at the Sea Cow.

Here's the video:

As an owner of the Sea Cow, I think it's a good review!

Did any one notice that the flags are flying in the wrong direction? A minor detail, just thought id throw that out there.

Great looking set though with so many nice pieces and things to play with.

Lego does that a lot, look back at the cover art over the years.

Oh my god, how on earth could this possibly be fixed?! Now i won't buy the set, cause here's no way you can just turn the flags around

I bought this set today at the LEGO store. I'll probably have a review of it late tomorrow evening on Brickipedia. I'll post a link whenever it's up!

Can someone who owns the model give me the long number on the back of the instruction book?

Glorious set - huge and virtually impossible to actually display - just the way I like my lego sets!

Real bargain too - a star wars set of the same pieces would be £100 more...

Set manages to really capture that sense of fun lego can have

Um... Which way is the wrong way on a vessel powered by steam and/or wind?

;)
