I just saw this on Brickshelf. Paul's latest creation. I really like the style and lines on this one. The hood is awesome!

I will not post anyone else's moc if they are a member of the forum.

There is some enjoyment in posting a new moc that you have created to a forum,I will not take that pleasure away from the builder unless instructed to do so. :classic:

Check the Wheels section.

6 EUR a piece, oof... I'll wait for my next paycheck  Hopefully they're a bit scratch-resistant. I have a bunch of original chrome silver grille tiles, and the chrome is slowly but surely flaking off.

Wow. I remember he said he was doing a 60's style car. This looks really well done. But where are the other pictures? :sceptic: The color scheme reminds me of a old 1967 Shelby GT500. I would also like to see how the hood mechanism works. I have tried to build cars with my kids with a flip forward hood that works like that, but I just ended up with a simple single pin on each side solution that wasn't very realistic looking.

The hinge works like this... It actually took me quite some time to get this right...

Nice detail with the grey fender  , new parts on it?.
Yes, there are new parts in it.. Steering arms, 5 length stop axles and 3 length axle pins...

I went with a Linear 4 Speed gearbox built into the chassis to keep the shifter as low as possible...

This is the front suspension...
