Very nice. Just a shame that the set was an extremely limited release (US only, unless I'm mistaken) and has already been discontinued...

I've never understood the value of this set. It just looks like a box of random parts to me, and that seems to be the extent if it.

Is there something in that book that makes these parts seem not so random?

The book, from what I've heard is the meat of the set.

The book, from what I've heard is the meat of the set.

The book is also relatively easy to find for free download on the internet, if it's not on the Lego website... so if there aren't any pieces unique to that set, a fairly average collection should be able to support it.

LEGO's Architecture Studio comes bundled with... inspiration

Now, this is one awesome LEGO architecture set: it comes bundled not just with 1,200-plus bricks of various forms but with inspiration as well.

Instead of the usual manual that tells you how to assemble the bricks, the LEGO Architecture Studio comes with an "inspirational guidebook."

The inspirational guidebook is "filled with 272 pages of tips, techniques, features, and intuitive hands-on exercises endorsed by leading design houses," LEGO said.

A separate report on The Indivisual also said that LEGO's Architecture Studio does not have specific instructions for any single architectural work.

"Where past LEGO products might have had the happy ancillary effect of nurturing youngsters’ interest in architecture, here, that’s the entire point," it said. — TJD, GMA News

Wow! Very nice MOC's! Did you use the Architecture Studio book to help you build parts of them?
