CM4Sci Posted December 13, 2013 I saw this on Brickset: It's one of those Employee-only sets. Looks really cool! I like the colored heads used as bodies -Sci
just2good Posted December 13, 2013 That is so cute! I want that now. I'm sure it will just stay as an employee exclusive set, if it is one.
Eggyslav Posted December 13, 2013 (edited) Although the snowman with human skull on top is kinda morbid........ Edited December 13, 2013 by Eggyslav
Yooha Posted December 13, 2013 The little trees are cute, but these semi-minifigs. What part is it in the snow-skull's hand?
CM4Sci Posted December 13, 2013 The little trees are cute, but these semi-minifigs. What part is it in the snow-skull's hand? It's the same brown carrot stem used by Santa's reindeer -Sci
Yooha Posted December 13, 2013 It's the same brown carrot stem used by Santa's reindeer -Sci Oh, okay. It looked like some 2 stud long bar (which doesn't exist).
Redhead1982 Posted December 13, 2013 This one is really cute. I like colored heads as bodies for the elves and children, and the trees look great with green cheese bricks.
Chilis Posted December 13, 2013 Love it! Too bad it`s a employee only. But hey, we can build it!
escortmad79 Posted December 13, 2013 That's... odd?

Herky Posted December 14, 2013 I am sure some will make their way to ebay like Ole Kirk's house...interesting set
TheLegoDr Posted December 14, 2013 Interesting idea. I've been building trees like that for my miniature castle scenes. It is neat to see them in an official set too.
Lego Otaku Posted December 14, 2013 (edited) Source: http://www.hothbricks.com it shows other side of the box. The set seems to be made of 4 sub-sets. Going to try and work on this in LDD. A bit over 1 hour later I got 3 of the 4 mostly done. Note I said mostly done. With only 2 pictures to work with, and no alternate view of the base plates except for the fireplace I couldn't tell if I am missing a few 1x1 round white plates and 1x2 white plates on other side of Santa's sleigh. Also I couldn't place the 1x1 red tile and 1x2 yellow tile in little kid's hands as it's not snap-on in LDD and it's extra tricky to float them in while the figs are rotated. I had to float a lot of other tiles and plates in plus I had to cheat on Santa's head and beard as it originally wouldn't fit on red blank head. Lastly I am not sure of the elf's workshop. The picture hinted at something below masonry profile bricks but I couldn't tell what. I am assuming dark bley plate for the moment. 323 pieces total. Still to do the snowman plate. Lego Otaku Posted December 16, 2013 Best that I can do with the given pictures: LDD file: unofficial 4000013 Box shows 435 pieces total and I have 407 so I am likely missing some pieces. I tried Brickset which has a partial part list that had a few pieces I missed but it didn't have any white 1x1 round plate so they aren't complete either. The mini base plate with the snowman was the hardest to do because it was furthest of the 4 pictured mini base plates, that is likely where most of the missed pieces are. The wall behind elves' workshop is also in question as I couldn't see clearly how it was done and when I checked the part list, it had a little too many grey plates under the masonry bricks, and too many 1x2 log bricks. Also it listed 2 trans-clear round brick but I couldn't figure those at all. I did add the "extra" parts Brickset listed to the side for future reference should a better picture or instruction turn up. Without official instruction or more pictures, this is all I can do. The color is probably 99% accurate. One of the elf's head has wrong print, LDD didn't have the right one.
BigOnBricks Posted December 18, 2013 Excellent job, thanks! I am going to source the parts, I love this set

Ikkad555 Posted January 4, 2014 A LEGO Christmas Tale 2013? Have there been several Christmas Tale employee-exclusives over the years that have not had a shred of information released to the public? Or rather, just a few that I didn't find on Google? Really cute set, and I bet the monochrome minifig collectors would have loved getting those blank heads. Also it listed 2 trans-clear round brick but I couldn't figure those at all. Could they possibly be optional bricks to give Santa a float-stand?
