Was away for a while, but I'm back. So, I've transferred most of the bodywork.

However, there isn't enough space for my desired steering setup (shown below, but with the servo/steering shaft mounted to the chassis), so I'll be redesigning the front axle within the next few days.

This one looks much better than the original :D

Would you mind showing more photos of the axles, or whole chassis? ;)

Once I figure out how to take a picture from a nice angle, I will.

-----------UPDATE----------

Swapped the front axle last night and stabilied the rear half of the bodywork. Also got new (old) seats :classic: Next step is the winch...

Thanks

Edit:

Have you used portals on axles, or not? And is the worm-gear-box position final, or just WIP?

Whats up with that switch hanging around there?

Haven't mounted it yet

Yes, I do have portal axles, and the worm gear box is in it's final position (unless something prompts me to change it).

If I were you, I would make the worm gear housing in black with 2905s (thin trangle liftarm) and simple connectors (6536), but I'm not sure it will be as strong as this one...

(The parts numbers are from Bricklink, I'm not sure whether they're right)

I was thinking of doing the same thing, but that setup would interfere with the wheels at maximum steering lock.

Yes, now I see you're right ;)
