My men are willing to die for their land, you don't have to be." Baradock was taken taken aback by this question, feeding off the adrenaline of the battle. "Do not be the foolish, Mint!" He rumbled through his thick accent. He turned to the opposing party, ready to strike. His eyes glazed over the bodies of Mint's soldiers. The barbarian's face lost its tenseness with realization, his voice followed suit. "It seems the tables have been turned." He paused, lowering his club. "Let this defeat make your people the stronger, General" With a pause, he threw a Konotarian salute, upcasting a clenched fist to eye level between Mint and himself. Baradock lowered his hand with a firm nod, heaving his club to his shoulder. "Baradock, you can't think fighting for that side will do any good at this point!" He shot a piercing glare to the gnome and the rest of his "allies" as he trudged off the battlefield toward the wagon. He rested his weight on the carry, the exhaustion started to set in.
