They are run by the same KIND of people. I studied with them during my scholariship, so believe me, it shouldn't stop to happen before a long long time (and next generation is even worst). Some of them are just pure genious, some other are juste pure craps. There's nothing inbetween

simple greed! *devil* repackage a set you already make(tie collection) throw in a new minifig not avillable in another set. bamm instant big seller. they know that all the collectors that have already got the tie collection will still buy it. i know i will get it eventually, hopefully at discount.

Same here. I personally hate to buy more tie sets but my collector side keeps buying these sets. The same thing happened with the pod racer set, I still bought Anakins pods separate even though it came with the set. |-/ Lego has got me by the Megablocks. >:( :D ;)

Well, yes, but don't forget that you still have the choice. Collecting is nice but think that today temptation is everywhere. I have a hard time to resist to a lot of things... I almost bought a UCS yoda just because it was cheap and my girlfriend had to open my eyes : "look at it, it looks like shit ! And what will its use be ? collecting the dust ?"

And I thought : she's right, if it's just about getting them all, then I'm just a weak guy. So stand up and resist ! (oh, god, i have not to buy an isd, how hard !)
