AlecLantz Posted April 25, 2016 I have lots of misprinted pieces, but by far my favorite is really rare (I haven't seen one like it before) and extremely useful. I have an angry-face Buzz with no dirt printing. For my rarest non-misprint pieces, well... I do own a Mr. Gold. So all of his pieces. where do you keep/display Mr. Gold? thomassio Posted May 1, 2016 light flesh 2x4 bricks. I got them from a friend of mine who told me he got them from a PaB wall years ago. I believe they were only produced for the big Basketball player sculptures at Legoworld.

MattGee Posted June 10, 2016 For my oldest I think Supplemental 224 I have boxed with trans-clear curved pieces fits the bill. Rarest piece - I don't really know until I finish looking through everything! I am pleased to have the two grey antennas for my space Command Centre 926 that I have rebuilt from all the old parts I had. For value versus size probably the trans clear old shields I have as radar pieces on my 894 Mobile Tracking Station. Probably some of my really old town printed or sticker pieces are quite rare but I don't have the time to really check!
danny316p Posted June 15, 2016 (edited) My oldest pieces are probably some tubeless 2x4 bricks from the late 50s. Kids, if you don't own any bricks older than your parents, you're not collecting rare parts correctly. I've collected a variety of Q elements over the years, but most of those are easy to find among rare elements. My rarest is probably my brand ribbon display stand: https://www.flickr.com/photos/dp3/9644163358/in/album-72157635320379651/ Edited June 15, 2016 by danny316p

Brickadier General Posted June 24, 2016 The rarest LEGO item currently in my collection is this 1940s convertible. Plastic is fantastic, but wood is also good. ;-)

I've got a bunch of "rarest parts".... https://flic.kr/s/aHsku7eEGF Wow so the long whip antenna DOES technically exist in transparent yellow. Wish I had some, I have a number of Blacktron 1-type MOC ideas where they would fit perfectly...
