MOC: History of the World

Often it can be difficult to decide what I want to build.

The Collectible Minifigures theme has brought many interesting historical minifigures. Last year I have built a large Greek layout for the Spartan from series 2:

After I had finished the Greek layout I thought a lot about what I should build next. Should I build a Roman layout for the Roman minifigures? Or should build an Egyptian layout for the pharaoh? Or a 1700's layout with a lot of minifigures with white wigs? I would like to build it all.

That's how I got the idea to build this MOC:

This is wonderful.

I thought the individual scenes were really well done, and I was really surprised to see the map of the world on the back - a very well thought out detail that adds a lot.

Wow! I'm particularly impressed by the buildings from St. Peter's Basilica to the Palace of Westminster. I think my favourite is Rosenborg Castle.

Potential additions you could consider for an expanded version:

Prehistory: A volcano, a jungle tree

Baby T-Rex. A monkey. The Gorilla Suit Guy. A Caveman and Cavegirl.

Feudal Japan: A Japanese shrine or temple

A ninja. A Samurai. A Geisha. A sumo wrestler. A Sensei.

Upcoming figures you definitely want to add when they are released: Abe Lincoln & William Shakespeare!
