I love anti-roll bars, they work great for track cars. Once I get my suspension parts from Germany I will try to implement one in my large RC car build :sweet:

Sorry to revive this 'old' topic, but i was curious how many people still follow this buildshow and if there are more copies out there! :blush:

@nicjasno: Why dont you build it fully studless? It would be cooler to have it like that. And also, is there a way to rebuild the rear suspension without the 2L bars that you use?

Some parts need to be done with studded parts. But i will try to use the new panels in some areas as structural parts.

The rear and front suspensions need to be rebuilt. I'll see what i can do about the 2l bars.

Totally rebuilded? That's some work! But yeah, curious how you make it again and again. :thumbup:

I think this is one of the best methods to learn how to build with Lego. Try to improve the newest chassis. When stuck you look how somebody solved it in the next episode. Amazing!

It may be stronger with studded parts, but you sure can build a studless car very strong if you brace sections in all directions. Plus, it is way more challenging to build studless.

@nicjasno: Excellent! It sounds very interesting that you will try to use panels. And that you will see what to do with the 2L bars, as they are modified, it is better if you could eliminate such parts

YES! More e30 type videos (hopefully)! Anyway I really like the McPherson Front suspension with the adjustable shocks. On the rear axle are you sure the UJ's and CV's can handle the torque? I have blown out CV's with just regular PF motors.

There is nothing final in any of those images. Everything can change still. I don't trust either the lego cv joints or the u-joints. But nothing else fits in here at the moment. I'll try to think of something stronger.

Brick built U-Joints could fit next to the diff housing, but probably not next to the wheels...too bad.

I have decided to go for the optimal sollution rather than something everybody is able to copy. With those springs, lowering and tuning the car will also be so much easier.
